Hooray! My hands were shaking as much watching as yours were in the video. I'm so happy my baits are getting out into the world and making a name for themselves. They grow up so fast, *sniff*
I don't want to break your workflow, but I'm most excited to see the one with three trebles (don't want to give away what it is) catch some pike. The walking bait sits very low, but it walks like a champ, I tested it.

What a gratifying exchange this is - someone working hard to make something with their own hands (including the personalized notes) for (one of, if not) their favorite content creators, and seeing their labor smash the fish on that channel. How cool! Well done, both of you.

Years ago I was in a small tackle shop in Walker, Minnesota and they had a big pike mount from that 1920's. A big one , over 40 inches. The lure? A large pine cone painted bright red, with three treble hooks and an integral wire leader. Brilliant. Those old timers made the most of what they had.

I've been tying flies for almost 40 years and the best dry flies are always the simplest. Just a piece of cork, shaped like a time capsule pill, down to the size to fit between a 20-24 hook. Painted simple chartreuse colors. Green, Orange. Sometime not painted at all. Teeny tiny. Trout don't leave it alone.

You got me all excited and I made about nine or 10 of the popper frogs out of wine corks. I painted mine up in all different colors with nail polish, and then clear coated it with some varnish. I had 250 pound mono that I used to run through the lure and crimped it on both ends. I also added rubber skirts to the tail end. They look just like frogs! I’m sure when it gets warm enough, they’ll get hammered

Like I've commented in the past, I think you could catch small mouth in a bathtub. But one of the things that really impresses me is that you respect your resource. Some fishermen catch a fish, haul it over the rocks, take the hook out and just heave it back into the water as it bounces off the bottom or the rocks. You catch your fish, take a measure and put it back in the water no worse for wear. Great job, great vids...

I was so impressed with how clean the waters are, plus how good the fishing is, that at the age of 65 and have the freedom to move anywhere I was
for a hot minute thinking I would relocate to North Dakota,, then reality hit home,,
by which I mean I am sure that the winters are too much for a old man like me to shovel how much snow I bet you get
plus I am now , here in the North east ( long Island ) tired of the cold winters ,,,, so let me just thank you or allowing me to enjoy the fishing there even it is only
    in my dreams

The winters here are rough, and can seem to be never ending. Right now we should be starting to get some spring weather but it’s nothing but snow and cold weather in the forecast. We got quite a bit of snow dumped on us this winter although a snowblower is pretty much a must have if you own a home here and takes most of the work out of snow removal. If you make it through that summer here is about perfect and I don’t think there’s anywhere else I’d rather be.

NDYA has been on YT for many years now, and people are still unoriginal with comparisons. I would say just let him be himself. This man is a pro at what he does; he doesn't need comparisons.

Love NDYakAngler videos! They're like therapy! Both calming and relaxing! NDYakAngler is to kayak fishing what Bob Ross was to painting! 😉

Good grief, NDYA has been on YT for years and people haven't quit the Bob Ross junk. NDYA is an outdoors man, a fisher man, a teacher. His personality is quiet, confident. Leave it at that.

It’s ridiculous how good you are at locating and catching these fish.
