I love seeing people that hear Disturbed after only hearing Sound of Silence. It's my reaction to hearing Sound of Silence after hearing Disturbed. Always loved Down with the Sickness.
I throw on their greatest hits when I'm in the gym. It let's you absolutely lose your mind to your aggression. They've got 20 years of absolutely powerful bangers.
I watched so many reactions to Dosturbed and I always wondered why does no one ever say he's hot? CAUSE HE'S HOT! I remember the first time I watched one of their videos and it hit me straight into the... heart. "Oh no, he's hot" So thank you for saying it. Loved the reaction.
This is the radio edit. Right near the end they cut out about 30 seconds of the song. Search for the full version to catch that part, because the song doesn't actually have such an abrupt change in pace at that part.
Don't tell her that without warning her of the content! Content: it's about an abusive mother to her child that gets fed up with it, dog cusses her out, and beats her ass right back! Ok now you know, if you read this.
I saw them live this past September! It was PHENOMENAL!! They’re one of my favorite bands! Another absolute favorite band of mine is Nightwish! They are a symphonic metal band. I would love to see you react to them! Start with Ghost Love Score! That’s where most start their journey!!
I don't know if you can still find it but the original version of this song was longer because he did an extended version in the center where he sonically simulates being abused as a child. And trust me back in the day there was a lot of uproar about it so they clipped it out of the mainstream version
The dark tones musically and lyrically can make heavy metal feel like a guilty pleasure when you first get deeper into it, we've all been there pretty much
It is amazing being in the crowd. I was at one of their concerts. It was madness. In the best way possible. Is a great experince. If you get the chance you should do to a Disturbed concert.
To throw a different recommendation into the mix I'm sure you know the unique voice "The Cranberries' Dolores O’Riordan & her song Zombie, she was set to reprise her iconic vocals on 'Bad Wolves' an American Rock band cover of the track. Although not a live performance the video & track released in her honour is incredible both vocally & visually, it is so powerful it evokes quite an emotional response. Bad Wolves - Zombie (Official Video) - th-cam.com/video/9XaS93WMRQQ/w-d-xo.html The original track was written about the 1993 IRA bombing in Warrington, and in memory of two young victims, Bad Wolves donated all proceeds from their cover to Dolores's Children. (Maybe as a suggestion watch the original Zombie video, get a refreshed feel for the meaning & awesome song, then see what Bad Wolves did to honour the song). Good luck, keep up the good work. Much love, Peace & Respect. Stay Safe.
Interesting thing about metal, the way the music is structured is actually closest to classical music, with many layers all combining to give an amazing finished product.
Some more Disturbed song recommendations; Land of Confusion a cover of genesis's original, The Light just a uplifting song with a great music video. Found you via The Sound of Silence reaction. Love your energy and open mindedness
I don´t like most metal but I love Disturbed, absolutely adore David and his merry bunch. When I listen to Disturbed there is harmony, rhythm, fantastic vocals and thought provoking lyrics, all mixed into a bowl of pleasure. For the most part I would actually classify Disturbed´s music as rhythmic hard rock and that would allow me to say that I don´t like metal, I guess it´s not that simple though.
they have so many great songs checkout inside the fire, another way to die, the vengeful one, perfect insanity, the light, land of confusion, stricken, stupify, ten thousand fists, asylum, open your eyes
Heavy metal is all about high energy and getting you psyched or hyped up. Disturbed is good. My personal top 5 bands are five finger death punch, bad wolves, disturbed, avenged sevenfold and godsmack; my #1 favorite being five finger death punch. They are a big supporter of the US military. If you want a tear-jerker, you should react to the video "arms wide open" by them.
Like the fact you did another Disturbed vid. Love you reaction at his first uuoo ahaha.lol Still requesting In This Moment - Beautiful Tragedy and The Gun Show...Please please please
To be honest I'm glad you did react to this version: the bit that was edited out is definitely a little off-putting for people new to metal. I hope you continue with this genre, there's so much variety to it that people don't realise. I'll throw down a few recommendations of my own that are possibly quite good transition songs into metal, but of course this is just my taste which is probably not indicative of the tastes of most metal fans. Ghost - 'Cirice', or Ghost - 'Square Hammer' Bad Wolves - 'Zombie' Avenged Sevenfold - 'Buried Alive', or Avenged Sevenfold - 'The Stage' Trivium - 'Sickness Unto You' Slipknot - 'Snuff' (I'd recommend the acoustic version by Corey Taylor - SO much emotion.) Five Finger Death Punch - 'Wrong Side of Heaven' Metallica - 'One' In This Moment - 'Whore' 'Sickness Unto You' or 'Whore' are probably the heaviest ones on that list, 'Zombie' or 'Snuff' are probably the most emotional. 'Buried Alive' and 'Square Hammer' are my favourites of those listed.
It's still off-putting to me, and I've heard it plenty. Not because of the lyrics, but because of how shoe-horned in it feels musically. Jonathan Davis from Korn had a natural breakdown while singing "Daddy", and that part is very powerful. To me, the "sickness"part of this song just doesn't flow and feels forced, so I like it without.
I must say I was also not really a metal listener until I watched the Movie 🎥 “Queen of the Damned” starring Stuart Townsend and late great Aaliyah. It’s where I heard this song for the first time and fell in love with Jonathan Davis’s voice the lead singer of Korn who was the singing voice of the vampire Lestat. Hope you give the movie a shot.
I just stumbled across this channel and I'm damn glad I did! I love your energy and your reactions. Keep up the awesome work you are a joy to watch 🙂 if you are into metal check out Godsmack, system of a down, or shinedown !!
Fun fact, Lead singer is also very well educated with a bachelors in Political science and government, Philosophy and business administration. He was also invited to Law School without actually applying but took the path of a musician instead.
FinessePlays as some one with a political science degree, he struck gold with his career. Poli sci is basically worthless degree these days unless you wanna go to law school.

Another Disturbed song I would recommend, off their newest album, instead of their first, is Uninvited Guest. Maybe check out Device - Close my Eyes Forever. Device was his side project while Disturbed was on hiatus, and that song is a duet.
Hold on to the memories is a must review from disturbed make sure it’s the film clip though and make sure you watch it while listening it’s a very visual song
I know this is old but if you've never heard it listen to the band and these two songs , Paperlace , Billy don't be a hero, The night Chicago died . Both are good songs and don't be afraid of saying you don't stay in one genre I listen to it all from opera to heavy metal to rap country whatever sounds good to me and whatever mood I'm in.
I gave you a like just for the “he’s Hot” comment. You think he’s hot in this one, you should check out Remember, Stupify, and Prayer. Really enjoyed your reaction. 😊👍🏼
Disturbed did another cover called "The Land of Confusion". It was originally a Genesis song (with legend Phil Collins) back in 1985. It's also a cool song that you should check out.
Great reaction. After you liked the sound of silence I suggested that song for you to react to because it's the opposite kind of music (this is the disturbed I know and love) in order to get a good reaction from you. It did. He has an amazing voice and dont feel guilty for liking it because that song is awesome and so r u. P.S. music reactions tend to be better when they aren't what u normally listen to and when its truly your first time listening to. Thanks again for using my suggestion. even if I'm not into this kind of music, I considered The Sound of Silence one of the best things I ever heard. But I can appreciate all the joy the fans are getting from listening to Disturbed. I liked the music, just not the lyrics so much :) and Adelle is soooooooooooooooo good looking ;)

There's an inherent impulse in women, especially young women to feel some attraction to guys who scare them. It stimulates something in them that I believe goes way back in time where women would latch on to a strong male that could protect them when in danger. That's my Sigmund Freud perspective on these reactions from all the young women hearing Disturbed for the first time. This is a message to you wimps out there. Women love strong men.
We all love it. Don't worry, your crush on him only makes my crush on you look kind of foolish! Ha, just joking. Thanks for the great reaction! I know I'm late, but I'm instantly subbed!

Yeah, swing and a miss. This is the "safe" version, but I'm not sure if the original version would get your video blocked. And yeah, the concert is something else.
I would agree with you in that this is metal. I have always thought the drums are tribal! ???? The song kicks butt. David has had formal musical training. I believe he is a Cantor.

Hey Gitana, nice reaction to this. I really liked it. There are a couple of other artists that I would love to see you react to. 1. Angelica Hale is a 12 year old girl that came in 2nd place on America's Got Talent in 2017. You could react to any number of her songs. One of her latest is a cover of Stone Cold by Demi Lovato that she absolutely nails. 2. Morrisette Amon singing one of her own songs called Akin Ka Na Lang. It's got an old 80's pop ballad vibe and is sung in Tagalog (Philippino language). Good job.
You should react to their songs Prayer and Stricken! Slower ones would be If I Ever Lose My Faith in You, and Hold on to the Memories! You're missing out if you don't!!!
I would like to see you react to more metal music. If your audience suggests more metal, I hope they ease you into metal and not suggest the extreme stuff that's out there until you've developed an ear for metal. I'm sure there are many metal tunes you would enjoy. Good luck and have fun.
I love seeing people that hear Disturbed after only hearing Sound of Silence. It's my reaction to hearing Sound of Silence after hearing Disturbed. Always loved Down with the Sickness.
Same with Arron Lewis/Staind. They have great songs but then you hear mudshovel and it's like a different band. Love it.
dont think there is any song David Draiman has sung that sounds bad
Agree. I stood in line at Janus Landing, Pinellas County. First album tour.
Good metal pumps you up and makes you want to break something....in a good way!! 🤘😉🤘

Metal is a good stress reliever that is a fact if you ever feel anxious this type of genre is a go to.

Ghost - 'Cirice', or Ghost - 'Square Hammer'
Bad Wolves - 'Zombie'
Avenged Sevenfold - 'Buried Alive', or Avenged Sevenfold - 'The Stage'
Trivium - 'Sickness Unto You'
Slipknot - 'Snuff' (I'd recommend the acoustic version by Corey Taylor - SO much emotion.)
Five Finger Death Punch - 'Wrong Side of Heaven'
Metallica - 'One'
In This Moment - 'Whore'
'Sickness Unto You' or 'Whore' are probably the heaviest ones on that list, 'Zombie' or 'Snuff' are probably the most emotional. 'Buried Alive' and 'Square Hammer' are my favourites of those listed.
