The first time i saw this Honda CB 550 Four, i recognized it immediately, as a "Old Empire Motorcycles" work.
Thanks to their excellent technical skills, they achieved something that only Illusionists are able to do.
The size of this Honda, became smaller without necessarily being it.

I had a CB500 in ‘73-6 that I used it ride to work and down to Houston from Shreveport. WHAT A GORGEOUS BIKE! Plenty of power, smooth enough for all day riding. Simple maintenance and comfy ergos, Every reason for the new rider to get off the couch

This is one of only a few motorcycles that doesn't have mudguards that I really like, I'm kind of old school in my thinking that a motorcycle needs to have mudguards, most don't seem dressed without them. Excellent presentation once again. Thank you.

My first bike was a Honda CB 360 that was wrecked in a hit and run back in the 80s. Wow, that bike is so beautiful! Your excellent videos intrigue me and now add one more thing to my kick-the-bucket list :) Now, where was that Craigslist listing...

What amazes me is the rear suspension with its wheel like flying, that makes a slender and elegant design in contrast with the almost vulgar bike where this machine originates. Just great!

By the way, this weekend is Moto Fiesta in my hometown León Guanajuato, we are expecting at least 20 thousand bikes, from any cc plataform, design, brand name, It´s a very fun weekend and no needless to say, that some cafe racer will be around those days. Even with the Patricia Hurricane and its heavy rain of yesterday, while a I was returning in my Pulsar from work, the highway was crowded with countless bikes from all over Mexico. Saludos amigo

Absolutely love your channel, and this has to be my favorite bike so far. I'm currently working on a CB750, and to see how he transformed a CB550 is a real eye opener. Absolutely feel in love with this bike. Do you happen to know if that is a custom headlight faring, because I would kill for a fairing like that!

You have shown us one of his machines before, the design and execution of it in practice give it an old world charm all the while innovative ideas find there way very subtly onto one of his machines.I think he's an mad alchemist and love the details Old Empire puts into his bike's especially the little leather maintenence bag he's used that on more of his machines, but it's against a stunningly beautiful bike👍😆 loved the vidz!

That swingarm set up looks absolutely amazing, only problem being that I can't see the suspension lasting long right under the chassis where there's going to be stones, dust and other stuff launched at it... a small fairing would keep it protected but then it just wouldn't look the same, food for thought I guess

I Love the bike, I've owned several and still have my 750. But I cannot help to be Blown Away by those Beautiful Leather Ring Hand Grips...and further accents with the tank pad tool pouch and seat! Surprised to see a lot of stock or OEM Parts as well. Just Gorgeous!!!

+RACER TV thats true, maybe going to make some alloy plates to wheel or both wheels to make them flat...i like that look. But i think that if something cost alot but doesnt make the bike faster or handle better im not going to pay that :) BUT if i get some good deal for wire wheels defenetly going to buy them..... My plans for the bike are , make it look nice, upgrade the brakes, upgrade the suspension, put the engine to peaces and make sure that its ok so i can go to longer trips whitout worrying. we will see maybe end of next year what it looks like :)
