Yes I have laminated one side of my dividers, actually do it all the time. I like creating a wet erase on opposite side of the divider to be used over and over which worked great. One tip is to use scrap paper for the excess plastic to grab on to so it doesn't melt in your machine. TFS Be Blessed
I haven't laminated tabs with the laminater but I use heavy duty packing tape to cover the tabs and that works well. The last set of dividers I made I just laminated the whole divider

Hi! Love this idea! Can you offer any video help with the sizing for cutting all the pages and the cover out? Also, is there a specific measurement for the placement of the disc holes? I would so appreciate any help in this as I would love to make this! Subscribed and liked!! :)
I just put up my lineup video which walks through cutting and punching printables from my shop: th-cam.com/video/R5t05r7vl3E/w-d-xo.html As for the the kikki k planner, my advice would be to crop the pages by hand in your PDF software to the page size. You will likely need to duplicate the pages since most are 2 page spreads. Then once you have a clean file of single pages, scale them up to your desired page size at print. I know it is not a video but hopefully that will help you get your project going.
Awesome job!!!!!! I got my Christmas planner out last week before going shopping to see what decorations I had listed last year that I wanted to purchase this year. I'm so ready to plan for the holidays.
I was curious about trying to laminate the tabs only. I have the same laminater you do and amazon basic laminating pocket sheets. I had a laminating sheet that I was trying to laminate by itself to make a clear bookmark and I had to pull the page out mid way because it was getting jammed. So it wasn't laminated all the way. I also had a divider I made out of scrapbook paper. The 1st try I cut out a square of un laminated page bigger than the tab and and ran it through the laminate holding onto the tab tightly, 1 square on each side that was not connected, until it was caught by the feed. The back piece still fell off but the front laminated fine. I cut it down and tried again. This time I cut out a bigger rectangle and folded the laminator sheet peice over the tab. Holding on tight when it was caught by the feeder the edge caught and folded up so it created its own little tab sticking off but the rest laminated fine. Due to the edge folding over I don't have a clean laminated tab. I didnt try a 3rd time. I was able to peel the laminated sheet off the divider very easily after it cooled down. The paper was fine the laminated sheet us pulled off the gold foil that was part of the paper design. I still feel the self laminating sheets would be best. But I don't have any to try
So the easiest way to resize the planner is to use print scaling. Here is the formula you can use to find the correct scaling for any inserts: desired planner page size (use either length or width) ÷ actual printable size (corresponding length or width) × 100 = % So, for example, if you want to resize a letter printable (8.5” x 11”) to personal size (3.7”x 6.7”), here is how you would do it: 3.7 ÷ 8.5 × 100 = 43% (width) or 6.7 ÷ 11 × 100 = 60% (length) Use the lower percentage (43% in the example) to ensure nothing is cut off. The closer the percentages are, the better the printable will fit in the desired planner page size. Hope this helps!
@@squairdplans thank you, it does! but how about this kiki.k free printables? they print two pages in one page, we tried everything to make it happen but we can't figure it out with my sister in law 🤔

Do you find that the we-r-memory keepers punch doesn't punch EXACTLY like the HP punch? I find pages hard to turn on HP discs when I punch them with that punch. I've heard the stem of that punch is narrower than the HP punch.

But I don't have any to try
hmm, I had a feeling things would not go as smooth trying to do just the tab. Good idea with the self laminating sheet, though.
How do I print the pages to fit my classic happy planner?
So the easiest way to resize the planner is to use print scaling. Here is the formula you can use to find the correct scaling for any inserts:
desired planner page size (use either length or width) ÷ actual printable size (corresponding length or width) × 100 = %
So, for example, if you want to resize a letter printable (8.5” x 11”) to personal size (3.7”x 6.7”), here is how you would do it:
3.7 ÷ 8.5 × 100 = 43% (width)
or
6.7 ÷ 11 × 100 = 60% (length)
Use the lower percentage (43% in the example) to ensure nothing is cut off. The closer the percentages are, the better the printable will fit in the desired planner page size. Hope this helps!

or
6.7 ÷ 11 × 100 = 60% (length)
Use the lower percentage (43% in the example) to ensure nothing is cut off. The closer the percentages are, the better the printable will fit in the desired planner page size. Hope this helps!
@@squairdplans thank you I'll give that a go
Does your laminater work well? I’ve been looking for one & I love this!
It’s still pretty new but it has performed well so far. I thought about getting a more expensive one to handle 10mil laminate but I couldn’t justify the cost. I think this one is a great budget friendly option for casual use. 😁👍🏼
@@squairdplans Thank you! Yeah, I hear you about the pricing. I’ve been looking for a cheap one too. Crafting is expensive!
Loved your planner! Can you tell how you turned de A5 kikki k organizer into HP size?
Thanks!
@@squairdplans thank you!
@@squairdplans Thanks for the formula/directions. I do not have fancy software to enlarge the print, but copying on my printer while resizing to 120% did the trick to get from A5 (5.8 x 8.3) to HP Classic size (7.0 x 9.25). These are very cute dividers. Thanks for the link to kikki’s blog.
Where do you get the inside for your planner?
Check the description of the video for details and links! 😁👍🏼
Self laminating sheets would probably work easy on the tabs
Thanks for the tip! 😁👍🏼
