Thanks so much, Kimberly! I appreciate your kind words and encouragement! ☺️💕
Just finished making mine! I’m not sure you’re good for me. 😉 Every time you make a planner accessory, I have to make it, too! 😂😂😂 While I have my laminating supplies out, I think I’ll add a pocket to the inside of my DIY cover! Thanks for sharing your awesome ideas!
So, I added the pocket to the inside of my DIY cover. I had forgotten that I had put my name on the front of the cover, using Dollar Tree vinyl- on the outside of the laminate. I ran the cover through my laminator twice! The vinyl letters are okay. One letter shifted a tiny bit, & some of the letters have super tiny bubbles. You can’t even see them, unless you’re looking for them. Just an FYI, in case anyone was wondering. 😊
😂 Sorry if I am bad influence. 😉 Thanks for sharing your DIY experience, too. Good to know about the vinyl.
I love it. I have never seen anything like this. 3 section organizer in your planner. You are fantastic at doing diys.
Thank you so much!

thanks so much!
love this!!
glad to hear it!
I LOVE pockets and you have made this heart of mine smile. I have found other pockets people have created, but this video is wonderful, the inside pocket is sweet & the outside rounded pocket is better for me than the square ones I have been creating. thanks for your tip on the rounded extended pocket.
You are so welcome! Always happy to share!
The pockets are brilliant!! I'm definitely going to have to watch this again before attempting this.
I hope I explained it well enough, but let me know if you have any questions.
I 💜 this!!! I like that it has so many elements in one insert. I'll be watching several more times to make sure I get the curved pocket right. Tfs!
You got this! Let me know if you have any questions!
This is great! Your channel and Etsy shop have everything I need at any given time. Thanks for all of your hard work 😊
Happy to hear it!
I love your DIY projects and this was another great one!!!

Thanks!
THANK YOU! I’m fairly new to creative planning. I will be making pockets soon.
Sweet! Happy planning!
Freaking LOVE THIS!!
Yay! Happy to hear it!
Confused how did the pocket stock go clear side w when you Added the circular pocket😊
Not sure what you mean…do mean how did the semicircle flap stick to the laminated pocket behind?
where do you get the "hole" puncher at? Really could use one badly
Here are few affiliate links: We R Memory Keepers Crop-A-Dile Disc Power Punch: amzn.to/3qAMuZP or (michaels) bit.ly/2L9Tybb or (scrapbook) shrsl.com/2k5lr
Hope that helps!
I’m sorry I didn’t quite understand how you attached the half circle pocket. If anyone did understand would you mind explaining. Please and thank you.
By cutting down the two straight edges of inside part of the circle flap, it exposes the glue side of the one on top. Those two exposed edges then heat seal to the laminate backer. Does that make sense?
I just watched multiple times until it “clicked.” 😊
So the glue side will stick to clear side
Need help, For the semi circle pocket you created in the middle of the video, do you turn the two pockets inside out and lay them on each other on the dashboard? I tried that and nothing stuck to the dashboard after laminating, they just peeled right off. Is the glossy or gluey side suppose to be facing us? Like which side is suppose to be on the outside?
So the glue sides of the flap should touch as if you were laminating something in between them, however your bottom flap sheet (the one in the inside of the completed flap) should be at least 1/4” or more shorter on the straight edges, exposing the glue edge of the top flap sheet. So when you run it through the laminator the exposed 1/4” glue edge will adhere to the laminated back surface and the flaps will seal to each other. Does that make sense?
@@squairdplans Thanks for the quick response! I think what I did is flip the arc pieces inside out (kinda like in the beginning when you made that top loading pocket) and that's probably why it didn't work. Will try the other way and send an update!
Ok, finally got back around to trying this. I made it correctly and oriented the flaps correctly...but still dealt with the entire flap peeling off with light pulling, even after laminating it 3 times. For the flap pocket, did you use 5 mil or 3 mil? I used 3 mil. Maybe that's where I'm going wrong. I used 5 mil for the overall dashboard.
@@memoir02 I used 5mil for both. Not sure if that was it, but the top corner of mine seemed to have issues sticking too, I think because it hit the ridge of where the laminated cardstock and the sealed edge within the backer met. Relaminating didn’t fix either. I used a little tombow glue runner to reattach and it fixed it permanently. Might be easier to just use some kinda of double sided glue/tape to stick on your 3mil divider to save you the trouble of recreating. 👍
@@squairdplans So I did try the flap pocket with the 5 mil sheet, moved the pocket more inward away from the edges, and it stuck much better! Yay 😀 Thanks again
I think I'm dumb. LOL. My side pocket piece would not adhere to the laminate of the dash...What did I do wrong? 😢
I also used 5 mil laminating sheet in case that is a possible issue.
