TEARS DRY ON THEIR OWN you reacted to was originally a slow version and completely different instrumental. because the album is full of sad and slow songs, Salam Remi suggested Amy Winehouse to did some interpolation of marvin gaye's AINT NO MOUNTAIN HIGH instrument. 🎉😊
Amy Winehouse is one of my all-time favourites and your reaction really gives justice to how amazing her music is. i think another artist u would enjoy is Kali Uchis (specifically her debut album 'Isolation') becasue she blends soulful elements with R&B as well as her Columbian sound. thanks so much for your reactions - i'm really enjoying ur Lana series 💛
aww thank you 🤍 I appreciate you for being here! Aside from that, I genuinely loved this album...Amy did her thing. I also love Kali so I definitely wouldn't mind doing reactions to albums of hers that I haven't heard as yet. Thank you for the recommendation.
@@NiaPhantomf*** me pumps, or in my bed can never decide! They’re off her first album a lot more jazzy! It’s called frank! But off back to black you know I’m no good ✌️
Some Unholy War is my favorite but I prefer the live version she did, it had a different vibe, i think that version is in the deluxe version, idk but i always go to the live version cause i like it so much. Girl... get into Sade, I just recently started to listen to their music and omg... it's good, Diamond Life and Love Deluxe are currently the only ones I've heard. Also Tina Turner, who sadly passed away last year I think, but she will never be forgotten; 'Private Dancer' the single, omg... Tina's music is more Rock N Roll, she is know as The Queen of Rock N Roll. Private Dance is her most aclaimed album, and rightfully so, but my favorite is 'Foreigh Affair'. Sade's and Tina's aren't technically old school albums because Sade's debut was in the 80s and Tina's big break was in the 80s. Just watch her perfomace of Proud Mary live at Wembley (2000), just to get a glimpse of Tina. An album that mixes hip-hop, soul, r&b is 'The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill' but again, IDK if it should be considered old school cause it was released in 1998. Back to Basics from Christina Aguilera is one that was released in 2006 and she was giving old school but with a slight modern twist.
Hey loves! What should I react to next?!
