    How about telling about the bike overall improvement with the exhaust PowerVision and air cleaner change’s that would be awesome

    I cut & trimmed the stock lower airbox flush with the filter which not only gave me easy access to the battery & front plug; but I got to keep the velocity stacks (your meager power gain might have to do with their elimination).
    I noticed a significant bump in power with the airbox mod & S.E. filter.
    NGK Iridium plugs & hotter coils also seemed to bump the power a bit.
    Tab Performance slipons w/o baffles gave a better sound but no noticeable power increase (but probably will with a good dynotune).
    By bypassing the valve cover vents from intake into a Catch Can ($15.00 ebay item but needed extra hardware to install) made a HUGE difference! Definite power increase from mid-high rpm and runs much smoother now.
    I solved the hassle of those 10 side cover screws by replacing the airbox cover nuts with 1/4 inch brass colars (Ace hardware) & quick release pins (ebay) to replace the screws. I can now get to the front plug in less than 2 minutes.

      $500 2 HP 😂. 133 HP is solid for a 640lb bike. I was looking to get/do a 1250 with the 180 tire and get that ish power out of it. There is a shop near me in Greenville OH that did lots of V Rods for years I figured would be a good resource. Before I could find one I bought a 2019 softail 114ci 670lbs 180 rear tire. Got it to 135 HP 134 TQ so I guess I ended up about the same place.

    They fit a five gallon tank under there? Wow that's way more than I would have thought. Good on them for getting that right. I once had a 535 Virago and the underseat tank was tiny compared to other motorcycles of that displacement with a traditional tank.

    We have the same exact bike color n all it has a stage 2 already installed n cams when we purchased it from a Dr. I rode a stock one to compare it to. And this things a freaking monster. Outran a Suzuki Habusa with it no problem in a qrt mile race in Tulsa at raceway. If you’re doing the 1:01 stage two you’re gonna be amazed. I think I’ll do the fancy intake you done love the look. We have factory leather saddle bags n windshield. Great bike we love it. When we go on rides with friends they hate it cause it’s the leader of the pack lol. Hi Sir hope your well. Just wanted to reach out to you and see if you know anything about how to change the hand controls basically the grips on the v- rods. I bought a 2013 Harley V-Rid that looks just like yours I mean exactly. By the way your bike looks great. I got my bike a month ago and wanted to do some upgrades. All I have done so far is new foot pegs but wanted to change the grips but I’m not sure how to do by myself with that twist knob cruise control. Do you have any advice or videos on how to change. I would much appreciate it thanks.

    How do you feel about the radiator cap facing right towards your legs if the bike was to overheat and spill out Coolant not sure why Harley engineered it to face towards a riders legs I am considering buying a V rod muscle love the channel and details that you give on the V rod

      Never bothered or thought about it ha. But the seat would block it easy plus when you see the reservoir it’s good size and only 1/3 full to hit the top mark. You can’t go wrong with the muscle it’s my favorite Harley so far!

      @TorqueandPower  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes sir a tune is important. V-Rod runs lean from the factory. You will notice issues without a tune. My powervision tuned it well after several tuning sessions on the road. Runs great now! You have baffles in the slip ons?

    Hey just to add, if you want to hear that intake growl, (if it even sounds different?🤷🏽‍♂️) you’ve got to give it a good quick wot twist and make the engine catch up, and immediately let out. Not saying let it hang at 9200 at all, just give us a good idle blip so some resonance if any can be experienced!
    Wondering how the difference would sound between the stock to the mod…
