Got fired from a job a few years ago. Gave the place my life and they sucked my soul away. I think I listened to this song almost on repeat for at least a year. Weirdly it kept me going. Never make somebody else a ton of money. They get greedy and forget those who helped get them there. Fuck them and fuck that place.

Exhausted pretty much described my 13 yr old self who experienced clinical depression. My favourite line is "What if the day had stayed in bed?" it resonates with me because i couldn't face what everyday life was throwing at me like being bullied at school, always breaking down, back and forth to hospitals etc. I still experience depression occasionally due to losing lots.of family members, a childhood friend and my beloved pets but I'm still fighting it

I was merely surviving and not living. I'm now getting the help i was denied after a doctor said i have an underlying condition and waiting for a formal diagnosis. this is really bloody amazing... whenever its just dave grohl who performs on a song all the instruments are in harmony with each other... you can indivually hear all the three instruments and their all on the same level and arn't battling with each other. you pick out each instrument and listen to it. it really sounds good with the drums and the bass which is usally quiet far back in a song really stands out
