We've become so used to just throwing things away these days and not trying to fix anything. It's a pure joy watching you take something that most folks would call trash and not only make it look good but in most cases putting it back in full working condition. Plus you have Avril the cat to help you on your projects. Thanks for what you do.

For the sake of preserving the wooden agitators in a food-safe way, you could treat them with olive oil. I use it for my wooden steak knife handles and whenever I have to wash the handle portion itself (rarely; I hand wash and am careful to only wash the blades) I rub them down with fresh oil and at over 20 years old they look as good as new.

It was the traditional way of churning using a giant ceramic urn like pot and a wooden handled churner. I don't think I remember it ever being put to use when I was little. I have a question, but disclaimer: I couldn't watch with sound because I'm in a place where I don't have my headphones available and would disturb the people around me if I played it out loud.
I was a bit confused regarding the metal parts. I expected you to let them sit in some sort of solution to remove rust, but instead saw you spray them with some sort of product that made them metallic. Were you painting over the rust or something else?
Very inspiring. I'd love to do work like this. Thank you!

I love your use of the word "SANE" for the wood, meaning of course it's stable & usable.
In the U.S. we use "sane" or it's antonym "insane" to refer almost exclusively to mental health.
Fantastic restoration too, by the way.

I was watching this on my phone late at night when I dropped the phone.
I had the sound off and in picking it up, I must have accidentally gone into the recommended videos where another TH-camr was restoring a different machine. Because it was late at night, I didn't notice the difference for over a minute. I was wondering what had happened to the quality of your work.
Accidentally switching between restoration channels 1/2 way through reminded me why your channel is one of the best. The care you take brings neglected and forgotten things back to life.
