    Thank you for the detail explanations for burnishing the inside edge of the bezel next to the stone, I've seen videos of this before but they were not as close up or detailed as yours was, the fork idea is very informative 😊

    Your teaching shows you are a master of your craft as you give instruction at an easy pace giving all information along the way-not assuming the listener already knows everything. It also gives us the courage to try to accomplish this type of setting as there are many nice stones that are trillions. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and craft.

    Best video for setting trillion cut stone. Wow, so many videos online but none as good as this. I like how to the point it is. No unless chatter, just how to and why! Thank you CoolTools!

    This was one of the best instructional videos on stone setting I’ve ever seen. It went at a decent pace even though explanations were thorough, including why/best practice tips. I can’t wait to try this out!

    Thank you for your excellent instructions! I am getting ready to solder silver for the first time! I need to make a bezel for a beautiful opal. I’ll make mine into a pendant, and I’ll be watching your video to make sure I do it right! And, I’ll be ordering some of my supplies from Cool Tools!
    You did a fantastic job on that ring! It is so beautiful!

    Great information, Not a jeweler but I got some tanzanite stones the same shape for earrings along with some three-point bezels. It was too difficult for me to do as I probably got the wrong ones for a 3 point stone, so I will finally use them for rings. Thanks for the Help!

    Hi, loving this channel and this tutorial. Thanks in advance for considering my questions:
    1) if you are, why do you quench in pickle?
    2) Why 3 - 4 balls of solder on the ring to bezel join, is that much needed for....strength, look, other?
    3) I love the metal bench tray under your pin, what maker/brand is that? Thank you so much, Matt.

    • @cooltoolsvideos
      @cooltoolsvideos  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hello!
      1) quenching in pickle instantly removes fire scale & Flux buildup
      2) 3 solder applications to fill in areas to keep from snagging or catching (examples/ sweaters long hair etc..)
      3) We are not sure about the bench, it's been around for while!
      Hope this helps!

    I am confused about something. I didn’t see anything used on the back or inside the bezel wire to secure the stone and keep it from coming out the back. Maybe I missed something?
