//ABOUT ME
Hello, My name is Mert, I am a professional 3D artist with nearly 10 years experience, I have started to share all my knowledge with you, my main software is Cinema 4D and my professions are Modeling/Product Visualization/Shading/Lighting/Rendering/Compositing/Motion Graphics Based Animations.
John Dickinson and you are best modeling teachers on YT.
Thank you :)
You are incredibly good. Your tutorials are the best. I learned more Cinema 4D with 10 of your tutorials than in the last 10 years with 50 tutorials that I bought expensively. My compliments for your great tutorials. I hope you keep going although it takes a lot of your time. I wish you every success.
Reza from Berlin
Wow thank you very much, I really appreciate it :)
Thanks so much for creating these videos! I've watched so many UV unwrapping tutorials on TH-cam trying to wrap my head around it 😉, and your tutorials on this are by far the best!!!! After watching your content, I feel like I actually know how to properly UV unwrap now after multiple failed attempts.
Thank you, that is awesome :)
As someone who’s been experienced for a couple years now but never got into UV unwrapping until recently these tutorials are great, thank you!
awesome
Same here ☝🏻
A good lesson on the design of the canister, in my opinion, is inconvenient, and especially the handle of the canister.
UV unwraping of irregular object like this bottle is a cosmos for me... I wish one day I will do it so easely and intuitively like you do 😍
Be consistent, keep practicing and boom, you will be really good in no time!
Keep em coming! Really dig your tutorials.
this is save my life for a work client.
Thank Polygonpen.
Great Workflow. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Прекрасная работа! Спасибо за труд.
I'm gonna watch this video many times. thanks!
That's alot to digest.... ty so much Polygon Pen, Aweasome tutorial!!!
Amazing. Every modelling conondrum gets solved by elegant modelling solutions, leaving me thinking “now why didn’t I think of that?”
Thank you very much, appreciated!
Really awesome, a lot of experience in this
This channel is GOLD.
Thank you!!
Poly, you are a wizard
I learn a lot from you. TYso much.
Thanks bro, love your skill teaching!!!
I learned so much, thank you!
thank you for your great class!
Great tutorial. Still struggling with uv's but defo getting closer to where I need to be. Thank you.
You can watch my latest UV tut in depth, it will really help!
you are a master keep it up.
Done! Took me almost 3 hours to finish but I did it 😂
Congrats!
great tips. thanks a lot
Thanks!
Just figured out why its important to check "Clamp Points on Axis" & "Delete Polygons on Axis".
we want Beginner 3D Modeling video more
Videoyu izleyince 5 litre pırıl diye giresim geldi :D İçerikler süper, başarılar dilerim
haha :) Teşekkürer
best
Sir how do you decide that this modelling would be better if I use cylinder modelling or box modelling
You need to prioritize cylinder shapes, these should the shapes that you want to retain so based on that you can decide.
wait for new your Tutorial everyday ^^
Thnak you , more coming.
Hi. Can you make a tutorial on how to make tote bag/cotton bag?
Thank you for the lesson. Will this model be texturing according to your uv unwrap? (I write with the help of google translation)
Maybe in the future, haven't planned yet.
I'm coming from using blender 3d, and watching your videos to see how is the workflow on cinema4d, and i really love blender for being a swiss knife, but c4d is so much easier to do some things.
Are you going to post a video using this model and texturing it?
Yeah, Cinema 4D is really simple and fast to model:
Btw, probably will not post a video about that model anoymore.
Does the uv unwrap command come from r25? Where can I find it in r19?
I believe, UV layout and tools updated after R21, so you can not find it in R19, you need to update.
Thanks for a really good tutorial! At 21:42 and 26:15 In c4d vers 23 these symmetry options are not there.. Thanks!
Thanks, in the newer versions of the C4D, symmetry tool has changed a bit, that should be why.
Very nice my friend! Why Cinema4D? What software you tried else? Thanks!!
Used most of the 3D production softwares, C4D is my fisrt one, it is simple simple, plain and easy to use and fits my workflow, I am not saying it is the best but I like to work with it.
Wondering why you use edge loops instead of crease weight to hold edges ?
You can do it but I want to keep it simple for beginners, weighting/creasing is the next level for subdivison modeling technique.
@@polygonpen cool, yeah totally understand. And hope to hear your thoughts on it in the future. keep up the good work 👍
32:21 - The UV mapping part
Do you know if it's possible to transfer SubD info into Rhino? I have a polygon sculpture that I need to reverse engineer to CAD for manufacturing. I wonder if I can begin that process in C4D since I'm more proficient in it and finish up in Rhino. And what would your approach be for reverse engineering a mesh? Thanks!
I have no knowledge about Rhino but if rhino has a polygonal/subd workflow, this should work.
@@polygonpen ok, thank you. you're a great instructor.
@@artkiko4460 Thank you :)
JUMP SCARE at 48.38 ^^
boo
Hey Friend hope you are doing great, Can you tell me is there a way to recover crashed files in Cineam 4d
Thanks, if you are lucky, it saves the crashed file to Appdata/Roaming.
@@polygonpen So they do not have a proper solution for this ? :(
@@talhazulqarnain2126 Yeah, unfortunately, so try to save time to time, but this happens in all programs.
nice earrape at the end lol
Really?, I normalized the audio level but I'll check it.
@@polygonpen i thought you did it on purpose as a joke haha
@@bulba1561 :D
Nice accent. Where are you from?
It is probably Turkish accent :)
