- Welcome to 7th and final episode of our P&O Iona (sister ship to P&O Arvia) Cruise vlog series, today is our fanal sea day on P&O Iona before we arrive back in Southampton.
It's another lazy day with some swimming in Iona's infinity swimming pool, ice cream afternoon team and ripples before ending the final night at the Epicurean.
We then sadly have to disembark Iona after a fantastic cruise.
We hope you enjoy following along with us on our cruise adventures! We love cruising with P&O and now that we have sailed on Iona it means we have sailed the whole fleet again! Our last cruise was on P&O Britannia and we've already got our next P&O cruise planned, this time on P&O Aurora!

We started cruising in 2014 by doing a mini break on P&O Aurora. Making videos of our cruises and sharing our experiences has become our hobby, they may not be to everyone's tastes but they are our way of remembering the great times we've had, so please keep this in mind - we are not professionals and the complete video is shot and edited on an iPhone in our spare time. The videos are our opinions and experiences while on board.
We may not be the youngest cruisers but we are trying to break the stereotype that cruising is for retired people. It really was a good cruise. We love the Epicurean we went on the first night. It was good to meet and I have no doubt our paths will cross again sometime in a bar on a cruise ship. See you soon Guys

Awesome video! We had angry-looking seas similar to that on Regal Princess back in October, and I loved it. However, I think I'd be pretty disorientated walking into the Sky Dome with those lights flashing like that at night, too! Haha, great video!

I believe the term is hair system. If true, you just earned 100+ points as it is undetectable and you look great with or without it. I have watched most of your videos from start to finish and I never gave it a second thought until someone questioned today. Your 'keeping it real' score is pretty darn high.
@@chrispnw2547 It's not a hair system. Gavin (or is it Luke?) shaves his head on a regular basis and probably (like me) takes his hair clippers on holiday with him.
Haha, luke does it himself, he’s not been to a barber for a while and just cuts it himself, so always takes the clippers on a cruise that way if it doesn’t style - off it comes 😂

M&S used to sell Marmite-butter ... I think it also contained cream cheese - but I have no Idea what the hell its like .
Oh, will have to have a look! We tried to make it mixing butter with a spoon of marmite hahaha.

Yes, she is something else! Big, modern, lots of space - stunning! Be there is something about smaller classic ships that are nice.

No, he just cut his hair. if you've seen previous videos, like a lot of guys (including me) he takes it close on occasions and (also like me) probably takes his clippers on holiday with him. It suits him.

It seems to vary by cruise line at the moment, but more and more are dropping it as a requirement. Will see what P&O are doing once we board Aurora a week tomorrow 👍

Best cruise review we've watched , you should get paid by P&O . We're off on the Iona in August and know exactly what to do and where to go . The Epicurian is simply sublime 😋 When we went last August Marina had the same starter as Luke and loved it - that strange drink is a cucumber mojito 😍 We also thoroughly recommend the Indonesian Tiger Prawns, which were more like lobsters than prawns 😂
Also, we are stealing Luke's sad end of cruise song - perfectly sums that feeling up 😢😊

What a great series, the only problem I have is that there were not more episodes. I have loved seeing Iona since I am going to meet her in November. The Epicurian looks awesome. I like how you get so much enjoyment out of your cruises. Thanks for the ride.

OOOH, I loved this episode. it looked like fun in the pool with the storm. Is Epicurean ala cart? There were so many items that I would want to try. The cheese plate looked yummy; I am a big rat! Does Iona compare well to Queen Mary for riding out choppy seas?

Iona did a fantastic job in the rough seas - our QM2 cruises have been quite calm but we'd guess QM2 would handle it even better!
@@CruiseMonkeys COOL, Thanks for always answering my questions. I have never been on a cruise. Two ferries, one on the Canadian Great Lakes (fair size) and one from Vancouver to Victoria, British Columbia. Got seasick on the smaller ferry. Hoping that a cruise ship would not be a problem. Does seasickness on ferries guarantee it will happen on cruises?
Cruise ships are definitely far better at handling the seas than ferries, so don’t worry. If you can book a cabin in a central/middle of the ship and low down so you feel less movement :)

Just watched the last episode, I feel sad thinking of the last day. She’s a beautiful ship and it’s very sad to leave her. I’m going on her again in six weeks. I agree with you that the restaurant has hints of Arcadia. I notice Cymru on your arm Luke. I’m from Swansea. I see you’re from Milford Haven. I spent the Easter weekend there. It’s a lovely place.

Weird watching this one, firstly by the lack of alcohol consumed by you both and also knowing the fact that we are up at 4am tomorrow to travel down to southampton to board Iona(second time abaord)for seven night around the fjords

Finally got to see the last day of your cruise! Thanks for taking us along. The food at the Epicurean looked so amazing I love lamb and very well presented. Too bad about the rough seas but such an amazing cruise!

The epicurean was really delicious 😋 although the seas were very roughy they ship handled it really well it certainly didn’t stop us! 😂 we hopefully have a new series starting Friday this time on P&O Aurora (our first ever cruise ship). We’re going from the largest and newest in the fleet to the smallest and oldest. As always thanks for taking the time to comment we really appreciate it 👍🏻❤️⚓️
