Gun laying drive really only makes sense on open topped arty like Obj 261. Spotting equipment makes no sense on arty, can’t use vents, can’t use a bunch of other things like vert stabs, stealth equipment makes no sense… in other words, last choice when nothing else makes sense or can be used.
TDs can't have vertical stabilizers because... . Same thing on why lower levels can't have some equipment. Nothing like being a tier 6 anything with a tier 8 light with CVS. @ClausKellerman Would love an equipment/setup video. Willing to help if you need a target in a practice room.
Thanks Claus! I put gun laying drive on one of the twitch drop premium tanks (I think Ram II), because the aiming takes longer time than the loading, so if you load faster you still have to wait for it to finish aiming. For SU130PM I have rammer, exhaust and binoculars, for stealth & vision.

Wait, I know what happened. It's my hearing - you said ""pros and cons!" I guess its back to using the headphones.
One thing I have learned is do a quick team evaluation right at the start. I dont consider either of the gift tanks brawlers the patton and the ts54. So I watch the opening moves..if 2/3 of the team go sit on perches I know for me to go mix it up will be a quick game so I stay under their guns and wait as well. If the entire team goes left lets say. I know one way or the other it will be usually a quick game one way or the other. Before I would set up a rear guard out of instinct and get steam rolled by the opposition. Lots of nuisances in this game. I wish I had a group to build with I feel like I am up against a lot of organized teams and lose a lot of matches for sure.

I wish you would start a series based on platoon strategies. Cover the strategies used by platoons... what worked. what didn't. commentary on their communications. etc.
Before equipment was reworked and improved aiming was added, GLD was considered standard equipment on almost anything that couldn't fit v-stabs. SU-130PM driver may just not be up to date on the meta

GLD is perfect for stationary vehicles and long aim-time vehicles. V-Stab is better for vehicles that move all the time. I use both on several of my Mediums and Heavies. The combo works great for me. I try to get aim-time below 2 seconds if possible. Find what works for you.
My friend Claus, you often forget how limited TDs have become not just the 10% vision penalty but during the equipment changeover it became impossible to mount vertical stabilizer or any associated booster on TDs. there is another equipment restriction, but I can't think of it right now
I actually learn quite a bit by watching these. But I have a question. Maybe you could do a quick tutorial on this. When I watch a replay, I can't get the stats afterwards. How do you do that? Keep up the fun stuff.

I equip most of my TDs with binocs and low noise muffler. The third option can vary. I am still unsure whether it is better to enhance a vehicle’s strengths or compensate for its weaknesses. With Binocs I often receive spotting damage even though other Bozos are closer. On the Asia server often the “closer” teammates are sitting behind a rock or other topography 😂

First guy is a muppet, first he takes like 5 minutes to drive all around the map to get to the hill undetected and once he got there he drives up the hill right in the front section out in the open very slowly for everyone to see. Second guy uses enhanced gun laying drive but fiddles his mouse everytime he shoots. Just can't make this shit up...

You have a tank of 8 levels and you are approximately at the bottom of the team or on the bottom team composition, stacked from level 10 = It's automatically a win because you have no chance to shoot down Level 10 that is: min. damage = victory.!!! If you are on the highest rungs in the lineup, e.g. team level 8 to level 6 , Automatically = high damage to the opponent and you automatically = Defeat!! Server. BLOCKS....visibility, enemy detections, opponent damage, you can just do whatever you want :D !! it's wasted money!! You actually have more losses than wins in the game!! Ask yourself another question.. how many times have you recorded what you see here? (it's easy to play if you're an admin with a good game mode!), and this thieving company gives replays like this every day ... they're just lying to you and fooling you it's a great game, waiting for you to adjust the game mode to the minimum so that you can put real money into it!! Regarding equipment, there is no discussion on most tanks. You play rammer. There is maybe 5 tanks in the whole game where rammer is not the pick (not counting autoloaders). On SU as a second slot is aiming unit as you really need to help that horrendous circle on this tank. Third one is your pick, rotation, turbo, optics, hardening for city maps, all work. Also GLD is basically arta equipment.

Stabilizers and rotation is a good compo for example A.P. 25.

I use enhanced GLD on the obj 261. Being open cabin the options are limited and it’s the best option for 3rd equipment slot.

Its gun is very trolly. Improved Aiming device is crucial. And don't leave the running away too late it is slower than you thing haha.
