I remember the BAD old days when tanks on your own team would deliberately overlap their barrels with that of the Arty so that when the Arty fired, it detonated the shell in the tube and blew up the SPG. I remember the days when some teammates team-killed as many as FIVE of their teammates without being banned. I have a video of that happening. One of my most watched videos, as are all the ones of players team-killing Arty. I remember the days when noobs would jump into their tier 2 tanks and run into a wall and expire because of the damage they caused to themselves. I remember the BAD old days when trolls would roam in groups to prevent their teammates playing by blocking them and then getting them to fire on the trolls, turn blue in the process and get banned.
I loved those days! I used my T32 with the long barrel to make the SPG blow up!!! I loved using the duck to team kill and they would bounce so I could kill allot of them. The game was less try hard and less stressful…..
Ahh Ya the Growing pains / game improvements Every one of them were going to ruin the game... lol. guess in the long term they(we) were right. IMHO WOT is not as much fun now. and we still have the big three bitch's those being maps, RNG, and matchmaking.
I'd drive my TOG and all of a sudden some Muppet in a lighter tank would crash into me thinking they could push. They'd take a bunch of damage and I'd get penalized for it. I got banned for a week once for that. I had to argue with customer disservice in order to remove the ban. I miss the old Friday "A-hole" videos.
"If you want something done right..." What that really means is "if I want something done exactly the way I want it done..." Those are two different things. For instance, a novice painter may go buy the paint and then use it one gallon can at a time before opening the next. Less mess and fuss that way. However, a pro painter will "box" the paint, which means you mix all the paint of the same color together before you begin painting. The pro knows that when the cans of paint are tinted, there are very small discrepancies in each individual can and wall #1 may look slightly different than wall #2 if the paint came from different cans. So, the pro "boxes" or mixes all the paint together so that the tint is uniform. The novice may think they are doing it "right" because they are doing it the way they want it done, when in truth they are not doing it right. Another example would be what if you had older vehicles all your life and you were religious about changing the oil every 3000 miles. Then you buy a brand new vehicle, and you show up for your first oil change right at 3000 miles. The service manager says, "The manufacturer recommends you change the oil every 5000 miles, not 3000." So you leave, mumbling under your breath, "I guess if you want something done right...." No, you just want it done the way you want it done. That doesn't mean it is always right.
It's funny but the Monty Python sketch unironically contains some decent advise. 1) If you stand up (shoot), you will be seen and shot. (Unless you're not IN the bush but behind it of course.) 2) If you are in the only bush possible, you will be shot even if not seen. 3) If the enemy has enough firepower (through number of guns or time), they will hit you even if they can't see you.

Ordinary promotion from WOT tips !! (Haha 3-6-8000 Damage) you don't get 1/4th of what you see here in real game!!! These bastards have a modified mod for promotions to see they are still in the top ranks, what he shoots is a hit!! if a tank hits him.. then a rebound... I guarantee that you won't have it that way!! and it will be the opposite on mil. % and besides... don't buy premium or premium tanks!!! it's useless anyway, the server determines the damage,,..determines victory and defeat .. If you upload min Damage to the opponent, the server will automatically flip and give Victory/ if High damage to the opponent - it is automatically Defeat.. You have a tank of 8 levels and you are approximately at the bottom of the team or on the bottom team composition, stacked from level 10 = It's automatically a win because you have no chance to shoot down Level 10 that is: min. damage = victory.!!! If you are on the highest rungs in the lineup, e.g. team level 8 to level 6 , Automatically = high damage to the opponent and you automatically = Defeat!! Server. BLOCKS....visibility, enemy detections, opponent damage, you can just do whatever you want :D !! it's wasted money!! You actually have more losses than wins in the game!! Ask yourself another question.. how many times have you recorded what you see here? (it's easy to play if you're an admin with a good game mode!), and this thieving company gives replays like this every day ... they're just lying to you and fooling you it's a great game, waiting for you to adjust the game mode to the minimum so that you can put real money into it!! Also note that they offer only premium or 10 level tanks, where you have huge losses in the game even during premium, especially if you use gold-i (premium cartridges)!!! , for 1 battle minus up to 8-20,000 cash... if not more... wt.

01:18 ... I remember the days of team damage. As a dedicated SPG player it made NOT hitting your own teammates (either directly or splash) very difficult. We can still stun our teammates today, but in the old days of TK, you fire across the map at an enemy, they drive backward and your own teammate drives right to the spot the enemy was at and your shell land and pens... of course it pens, right? Team damage made the game of arty a much more skilled member of the team unless you wanted to turn blue. Then there were the a-holes who hated arty and would place their barrels in front of the SPG barrel, killing the SPG with its own splash. Those were the days!
Once at the start of a game, an ELC bis on my team shot me in the rear, so I shot him in the rear.. But I was in my Pz iV H with the derp gun, and I had HE loaded. He blew up. Then our arty shot me. I explained what happened, so it ended there.

I think we should all be given one"silver bullet" in game, with nominal damage value to use as a "communication device" against our team mates when required.
12:25 ... if the O-I would have put cammo on the tank for 2% concealment, the EBR would not have spotted him when he did at the edge of the view range circle... it would have made the ELC have too get a little closer and maybe get spotted by, and killed by the O-I. Put concealment on all your vehicles, it might make the difference needed to win the battle.
The times cammo skill is going to make a difference for big heavy tanks with basically almost zero base cammo are so few it's absolutely not worth it having cammo instead of other skills
