It seems like ground realistic in War Thunder has been plagued by close air support planes as of late, so I figured I would take out the American P-59A jet fighter to keep the skies clear.

Could you try playing on EU servers?
As someone from Hungary, after watching your videos and seeing all the dumb sh!t that happens I'vve thought I give the US servers a try, and I have been having a blast, with a lot better K/D than I had on EU servers, and I'm curious if you can also notice any difference!

@@freddy67h A few days ago someone suggested on the forums to remove at least just the type of aircraft from ARB, just show a dot, and the ARB players were FUMING "bbbbbut I cant predict my engage in advance" yeah bruh thats how fights work lol. It was voted down 3 to 1
Meanwhile in GRB we don't even have a dot and its fun as hell (CAS is busted and far too OP, but CAP is super fun and should be kept as is, just make bombs and AP belts waaaaaaaaaaaay more expensive)

The problem is that ARB sucks os hard, due to having the indicators showing like in AAB, and not having respawns, that 90% of people wanting to play ARB play ARB in GRB xD
It's not helping that if you get a singie assist as a light tank you can keep spawning CAS for the rest of the game xd
@evoluxman9935 nah CAS in GRB is fine up to 8.3, all of the complaining I've seen has just been skill issue/deciding to hate something because it they died to it.
70% of my enjoyment of GRB comes from either running CAP, spaa or flying CAS. Your changes would reduce all of that.
Seriously, lmb to kill tank gets old after a while. Its nice to be able to mix it up.

It can hardly even face enemy jets 😂and does well against them until like 7.3. Surely not a prem vehicle benefit, don't worry about it.

Keep in mind that it has horrible energy retention and atrocious roll rate at high speeds.
@@StealthCloudchaser It's roll rate is atrocious at any speed. Combined with a rudder that feels funky it can be hard to get hits with this thing.

CAS should have a limit on how much can be spawned at once and activity increase the Spawn cost of planes for each anti ground piece of ordinance they equip.

Seeing the Type 60 getting whacked reminds me of when I nailed an L3 CC with the AP from the M103. I had absolutely no clue it was that because it was zooming through terrain. I was immediately hit with sadness.

You know Gaijin messed up when a f**king twin engine jet out-turns a wooden Zero
playing in a fighter (w/ bombs so I can still help the ground here and there directly if no planes spawn) is one of my favorite things in Ground RB. Even prevented a nuke the other day which allowed us to win the match, was fun. Other team didn't think so but hey, skill issue, fly the bomber better.
I am ridiculously fond of the P40, even though it's not the best plane in it's BR. I just love the thing.

I wonder how it would turn out if air realistic and ground would be combined. You can either spawn in with one (1) plane or your tank lineup and planes take off from the airfield.

If you ever do this with German vehicles, I would personally recommend the Ta 152 H-1, it has an amazing turn rate and energy retention, especially with flaps.

thank you for this. i’m trying to complete the 3 kills in a single life with a heavy tank challenge and cas has ended my streak probably 4 or 5 separate times. this challenge is supposed to be a cake walk but it’s really been awful
Don't take your heavy tank 1st into battle. Let it be the 2nd or 3rd option. With your 1st vehicle you can check the skies and see if your allies have CAP/CAS to defend/Assist and/or the enemy has enough CAS in the skies. That way you can see if its a safe play to bring your heavy or not.
