My pattern didn't print out to the correct size so my bag is tiny, but it turned out great. Wish I could figure out why they don't always print correctly.
I can't seem to get the Dropbox to work. I've downloaded the app but I'm lost from there. Before when you shared an svg it went directly into design space. I'm totally lost with computers...hellllllp

Hi Lorrie. I don't have the new Cricut. I have the original Cricut. But I cut your pattern out by hand. My sewing team and I will be making these to give to women who have nothing. We modified the inside by adding an inner pocket. (Just cut 2 more bottoms) and instead of using the metal snaps, we used Kam Snaps. Whatever we make is never sold. Our items are always given away to those less fortunate.
jamie vanskiver the patter. The svg is slightly larger than the pdf just so I could fit it on the paper. You can adjust the width or height however you like.

Made another one in the last couple of days, slightly bigger added 2 d- rings with a slightly different strap connectors could be used as a waist bag or bum bag just by adjusting length of belt !!! Great and easy pattern!!!
Was looking for a small pouch thank you. Though I had some trouble sewing it together because of the bulk stitches weren't coming out right. Seam ripped quiet a few time lol. I think I used 8273627 pins to make sure everything was right and straight. I did tweak it though by placing 2 swivel clasp at each end so I can attached them to the loops of my jean belt loop.
Nice tutorial all around. Thanks. I have a logistical question - with only one snap to close, won't your phone and other goodies come out if there is no zipper and you carry it by the strap? I'd love to hear feedback from anyone who has used it.

I just love this tutorial!!! I have a question...the top flap does not have an over hang. I followed the measurement, but I was left without an over hang. What did I do wrong ?
I’m seeing this video and your comment two years later (Sept 2021). Did you make this in leather? I’m thinking of trying it in faux leather, with a zipper closure instead of a flap, and also putting a cross body strap on it.

Treva Hillyard the svg is different than when I shared a design space file. You need to upload this to design space using the upload button

I brought the file into Design Space, the larger piece comes in at 4.999" x 3.75" seems small. what should the measurements be?

you don't need drop box at all. Just go to the upper right corner (click the 3 dots) and click the download button to download it to your computer.
