I definitely needed this, I am setting up my quick race right now. I am brand f'n new to all of this and I don't EVEN know where to start. This has already helped me out. Grassy-ass 😎👍
been sim racing for almost 10 years and have been on acc since 2020 but it’s always good to refresh on some info i might have lost throughout the years 👍👍
I agree with a lot of this, but i dont agree with getting your SA up as quickly as possible so you can immediately jump straight into multiplayer races. Sure, its more fun to race multiplayer but if youre starting out racing multiplayer as a complete rookie to the game id recommend just going with a league at first, which typically dont have SA requirements if theyre smaller anyways.. and if you go into something like LFM when you still dont know the game that well, you can cause some problems for yourself and possibly even others since you havent used your time to learn like everyone else has. I agree with a bunch of other stuff though, and my opinion isnt necessarily the most popular of ones.
which year should i race on i like racing on 2024 beacause of the bmw which i only drive but then i want to drive witth porcshe and i cant on 2024 beacause i need dlc so i choose other years. but does it really matter or not?
Overtaking AI is defo not the same as racing wheel to wheel with real ppl., but your in game safety rating goes up faster when you stay very close to the AI with out contact, so you can overtake if you want but its more important to boost your safety rating.
I have recently purchased a PS5 and thinking of downloading ACC, how is this game on controller? I don't have a wheel and pedal setup, rolling with controller for now.
It's playable, I found a pretty good controller guide here on YT. I don't recommend using a controller. It'll never be comparable to a wheel in terms of fun and precision.
@@terenceramroopI agree I had the original for PS4 back in 17 I wish I didn't get rid of it but brought this for the x series because it's a simulation not like Forza
i dont have a wheel just yet, i just ordered one and tried it out last night and omg it was shit, its better to save up for a decent one lmao, sent it back for a refund
ACC is on sale, going to buy it this weekend. Great vid. Had a question tho. What DLC should I be looking at from a beginning aspect. I really do want to drive BMW cars if that matters
@@Kay-p123 I just bought interconental, british, american and 2020 world challenge. these 4 has a lot of tracks, some cars and they are cheap if you look for pc keys. 20€ all 4
@@UnkleDuke It shouldnt be locked at 0. just try 1 race with no contact and see what happens. The TR is track medals so you have to do a few laps on ALL of the tracks to get that rating up.
@@UnkleDukeI believe you have to get each category to level 50 in each time you do that it unlocks the next category. Or it’s based off doing a few races before it can calculate what your safety rating will be.
a skilled driver..when I play the AI pull ahead, and I have to break real hard around corners...losing traction, etc, since I suck. How come it looks like they drive so slow...when I play they drive twice as fast...and my AI difficulty is like 85. It must be the track...I don't get it...I can't stay close...the track is too fast. Maybe this is a curvy slow track.
I’m new idk wether to get this or normal ac I was gonna get Ac until I heard it doesn’t get updated so I’m thinking about getting this now what’s advised for noobs
I’m gonna start singing racing too and from what I found out this is better if you want to do proper racing. If you want to have more car variety, different car mods, and game modes like cutting up then you can get regular ac. As you’ve said that game has stopped receiving updates so it’s more of a community thing only now. Acc is the actual proper racing with better realism is what I understood tbh. I mean you can get both whenever they’re on sale just to make sure since they’re pretty cheap without the dlcs😂
@@ekiciekici429 ye i bought the normal one it is quite overwhelming and ive only been playing no hesi which is fun but i also wanna do some real racing but theres alot of stuff and its confusing so ill probably buy ACC as well for the proper racing once i get a wheel and stuff
@@Bruh01234 I just started with AC a couple of months or so after using Raceroom for about 6 months as my entry into sim racing. Man is it a drag getting that sim all set up especially if like me you're crap with computers in general. I think it's the best driving sim but you need to be either quite enthusiastic or already used to modding games and fiddling with software to get the most out of it.

i have a 2070 and my game runs fine so it’s probably something wonky going on with your pc. i know it sounds stupid but check for viruses with a high end pc scanner. i had a bitcoin miner on my pc for a year without noticing and it made all my games run really bad, like 100+ fps loss on everything. and also if you haven’t already try verifying game files or reinstalling the game

Thanks for the video bro. Im a returning player and this has been mad helpful. Appreciate you.
Have you heard from Dalking? Miss seeing him race, just wondering. Keep up the great work my man!
Yeah I spoke to him about two or three weeks ago he's just been working loads of hours man so he's just been busy.
@@KrypticTMG thanks for the reply! Glad he is doing good
@Schmitty4564 no problem bro.
Great video bro, thanks. One thing I have to know though; what are your graphic's settings? The section from 14 - 21 minutes looks fantastic!

Very helpful. Thank you! 👍👏👏
do you know how to access cars from car packs? Just bought a couple and can’t find them anywhere
I mean a beginner is going to have to learn how to overtake cleanly anyway. So why not learn offline?

Literally the worst graphics. Pure blur and a complete hog on a 3080 with quest 2. 60 FPS

A "Beginners Guide" and begins by talking about the Safety Rating, not the basics of the game such as game modes, settings/options, etc... absurd.
