@@MutedTrey I have a windows 10 with a DELL computer case. Thanks alot man. But i have a question, as i want to stream the switch on my dsicord. But i only have one screen, does that mean i can only play withouth streaming it? Or do i have to buy a 2nd screen?
IF YOU HAVE A MONITOR WITH A JACK INPUT Then you can connect it to a "Line In" or "L-In" input on your PC. I personally use Voicemeeter Banana to send the screen back as a hardware input, but Windows can probably do it on its own. I've tested it and I don't hear any annoying buzz like the mic input did.
@@Nynhii idk probly has something to do with your switch getting confused on what audio device to out put from or your speakers arnt working or they are off
So I tried to connect my nintendo switch up to my computer monitor, it worked, and then the next time I tried to do it, it stopped working. The light on the dock only lights up for a few moments, then the switch continuously blinks on and off, as though it's trying to figure out whether it's in the dock or not. the HDMI is connected on both ends and the power cord is connected. I am using an HDMI switcher, but no matter which one of the three ports I put it in, it doesn't work; yet it does work for my computer to connect to the monitor. So I'm incredibly confused as to why it won't connect. I even tried a different HDMI cord.

i have an all in one 27 pavilion and ive tryed to connect the Switch to it so many times but it wont work, i cant find anywhere to turn on hdmi mode, is it automatically going to turn on to hdmi? theres nothing wrong with the cable or nintendo switch as they are both new but the computer doesnt seem to detect the Switch at all.😭😭
Can have both connected at the same time. For example, I have 2 HDMI ports, I use HDMI-1 for my computer for work, then HDMI-2 from my switch to my monitor. Then you just choose which input for whatever you're doing at the time (work vs play).
Why does the switch look blurry/pixelated when connected to my monitor, the resolution is at 1080p and all the setting seems fine. I can't get the switch to look crisp and clean like on most TVs
this doesn't help sadly. I have the hdmi adapter plugged into my pc while typing this and watching the whole video. The Hdmi is connected to the dock and the other end of the cable is still plugged into the pc. Any tips to help?
its kinda late but through trial and error i figured out that you just press the power button on the switch to go from switch to PC, and if you want to go back to switch from PC, you unplug the HDMI cord and plug it back in. Hope this helps.
