I would get one of those new magnetic Matt screen protectors so that I can take them off when I want full quality. I don’t understand though. Why would anybody that wants colour accurate work do it under direct sunlight
Buying a glossy version compared to nano-texture version would save me enough to buy the new iPad Air M2 additionally (or even an iPhone 15) and I’d still be left with some change💰
@@hyacinth5040 I hear that the new panel is 10-120 Hz worse in that aspect than iPhone 15 pro that is 1-120 Hz ,,,, so you dont have always on display.... Probably not good for gaming
@@lkjefferson3485 Always on Display doesn't affect gaming??? The 10-120hz dynamic refresh rate is just to save battery when you are doing much. If you are playing games on the iPad or iPhone then both would be at 120hz but if you are staring at a document the iPad would be at 10 at the iPhone at 1. Plus the M4 chip is wayy more powerful than the iPhone chip. So yes, it is good for gaming
I cannot possibly predict exactly where I will be using the ipad and how much light there will be on a given day at any given moment. I got the nano texture display since it looked like a compelling option. If I hate it I will just return it.
I just want next iPadOS to be included more desktop iPadOS apps on iPads with M series chip and Also to option to install apps from safari and from external devices for us library IT students who have lot of PDF to read and have software to download. please.🙏🙏🙏
if you buy the standard glass, you can always use a matte screen protector if you want matte. However, if you buy the nano then decided to install a glossy screen protector, your screen will still look matte. Atleast, that what I think. Someone correct me if am wrong.
@@kotisesh you shouldnt installany screen protector on a nano, it will ruin the effect of the nano display, installing glossy would just make your nano reflective, installing an additional matte, may require an installation process that isnt recommended for the nano and distort the image.
@bren.r I wish there was tempered glass that would have the same feel as a matte screen protector. Matte feels much nicer, but you compromise on quality.
It’s for people who draw a lot. The resistance makes it nicer to draw on. If you always slap a paperlike on your iPad or are coming from a Cintiq, this is good news. I’m going to pay for it.
Why anyone would buy an iPad in 2024 just kills me. Get a full OS already same goes for any storage under 1TB. Apples gated community is financially irresponsible for the world.
Just get regular and add an aftermarket matte film if needed 🗿
Precisely what I was thinking.

It does really works?
This is the way. Added protection too!
Apple’s coating is the best they’ve ever put on an iPad though
We need more review like this... instead of asking people to just grab the new stuff!
Exactly people should just get a matte screen protector if they want that anti reflective effect
It's not anti reflective. It's light refracting. Matte sucks.
Ooh, thanks for making me feel better about my choice. I chose the regular gloss screen because I wanted more storage. I'm glad I went with that.

The nano looks like a mini led display
Which is sad because that's literally what they are changing it from a mini led
@@alvinamana1459😂😂😂 just in Apple inc.
@@alvinamana1459 In the dark it will appear pure black
I plan on getting the 13 inch, but Reg glass.
I also heard with the nano screen it isn’t friendly to all dust removal cloths and the fact that you would need the 1tb model just to get it
And if you dint use the cloth it comes with it might get scratched
What about Gaming guys which one is better ?
@@OpsAhmad the screen doesn't affect games directly, but like said in the video the regular glossy screen will look way better

Thank you❤️ Great to have that perspective.
Thanks for the advice!
Pro tip: get Whatever Tablet and buy a matte screen protector separately.
Pls tell them to reduce its pricing.. 🥺
Exactly what I wanted to know! 👏🏼

If someone wants to put screen guard does that mean visual experience going to reduce by some margin?
What if you always had a matte film on your 2018 pro, is the nano just simply better than a matte film?
@matthewmoniz thanks for this hot take. helped me make my decision going with the standard screen.
Make sense great suggestion
Hi , Question plz what is your recommendation about Gaming which is better ?
So the visuals experience is very huge or not so much. I mean the downgrade of visual experience?
Does a Nano-textured display need a screen protector?🤔
Nano wins, it’s awesome
I have 5th gen. The screen really suffers without OLED
No
More expensive and delicate.
Nano is a blessing for a large still standing displays but for an iPad i find no reason to have a nano display!
Does it have paper like feeling with the pen 🖊️
Why is there no ipad mini
Now i dont kbow if i should buy the mini 6 or wait another year

So basically buy a matte screen protector and you’re fine.
Or use a tempered glass protector and retain the vibrancy of the display.

They installed the oled pannel for contrast increase but then installed a mate coat wth. 😅😂
Imagine spending More and for next gen device for downgrade lol.
Can you feel the nano texture? Does it give you more controle with the pencil? Or would I still need a paperlike?
I saw ESR on Amazon sells a paper like magnetic protector for mere $15 right now
Of course. There's less friction
No, as I add paper gel on it
please trust your eyes

I bought a matte screen protector for ten dollars instead
Does the new magic keyboard work with the M1 ipad 12.9 inches?
Of coz nit
just get a paperlike lol
Also I’d be concerned of that “nano” frosting wearing out overtime.
It's not a coating. It's etched into the glass.
@@bren.r that’s just as bad. It’ll wear overtime.
Ipad pro max coming soon guys
How do you know that ?
Why does making a screen matte reduce contrast?
Light spreads, creates shade and making display less contrasty.
I think I would See a difference for sure. If I have both Pad Pros in Front of me.. in the Video i cant see any differenfe
Just buy Matt magnetic film
Too bad I cant code on it
If you want the best visual experience save yourself a tonne of cash and get glasses.
Wow. Only i-mor0ns would debate about this.
Just buy a matte screen protector!
Only samsung can pull off an anti reflective screen and not look bad with the s24 ultra
Yay an iPad Pro with nothing pro about it, over 1k for a iPad that can’t do more than the cheapest iPad can do. 😂😂😂 Sheep get hyped up for anything 🤣
Just get a computer at that point
360 OLED laptop with professional apps
Matte is just better than glossy.

ipad is totally useless. iphone and mac are still something you need. but not a tablet
