@@magma1264 Yeah but sonic was running up a wall that was slightly slant doesn't make sense therefore similar to sonic 4 physics therefore the joke made sense also sonic was running in one of his slowest animations therefore still going slow but able to walk on walls.

I'm glad you're finally a bit better at Puyo Puyo. You probably don't care, but you want stair stacks to move more horizontally than one huge tower. You essentially made a giant stair stack into tails, which is vulnerable to topping out (especially against other humans). Even if it doesn't kill you, it blocks your ability to move puyos across the screen which is as good as death.
Well that's the thing, this isn't against other humans. Regular Puyo strats don't exactly apply for this boss fight. I wasn't worried about topping out because if Eggman had sent 2 rows of garbage at me then the fight was very likely way too slow anyway, lol

I just bought Sonic Mania yesterday, and i beat it today and i wanted to see a speedrun to know what they do, and i got my answer, run through the levels fast, this made me happy
Start with individual levels, Green Hill, Studiopolis and Mirage Saloon are all pretty easy beginner levels. Just look up other speedruns to learn the fastest route
Never thought about it before but seeing a speedrunner blast through the game and then slowing down and playing puyopuyo/bean machine (and crushing at it) is quite funny
If you were to hit an item box that played a sound effect/song (like invincibility and 1-up) or trigger boss music And right before it starts playing you turn into super sonic (which triggers the super theme) it will cut out all music for about 20 seconds. Part of the reason this happens is because when turning super sonic all music cuts out until he goes from blue to yellow. If I had to guess, the reason this happens is because when the music cuts out when sonic transforms, it takes priority over any other theme/ sound effect. Causing the game to mess up when you go super when the games plays something that is different than the level theme
That's because the version of the game this was played on, didn't show your times at the end. That was added in a patch during July 2018, over 5 months after this run.

You don’t even need to try to end up breaking the game. I think it adds to the experience though. I was playing as Ray and somehow, at the end of Press Garden Act 1 got him to walk backwards into position to start Act 2. The only time it was a bother (yet still funny) for me was when I was Super Tails in Hydrocity Act 2 using the hand boost thing and got trapped in a wall.
