@@KeepItTiny one question I've found to provide some good insight is "If you were starting from scratch today, with only $50k to invest, and knowing what you know, what would you do? What kind of operation would you build from the ground up? Would you seek additional financing? Partner with an established operator? What if you had $100k? $250k? What if you were coming into this space "cold" without prior RE development or construction experience? Would that change your answers? Would you hire a consultant or resource like Sage or Nick Labadie to guide and facilitate elements of the process? If so, would it be soup to nuts or just specific parts like permitting?" There's starting to be a fair amount of good info available about process overview and pitfalls, but less on the very beginning steps to maximize the return on your capital so that you can do more with what you have.

I also own an airbnb in a county with zero zoning and permitting. All they inspect is electrical and sewage!
You guys are so lucky! But also so smart for choosing to run your business at a location like that.
Mine too. Hiwever in our unorganized territory, they only inspect sewage... IF you have sewage. We have composting toilets. Nothing to inspect.
