OMG...so many things to comment on! I pulled the trigger on the Glossier Perfecting Tint, my daughter-in-love turned me on to Chacos, have been bing watching and listening to Making the Cut, You're Wrong About and Maintenance Phase. I have fallen in love with the BK brushes and went back and ordered the brushes I didn't have from their sale. Also oddball side note....every time you said Ana Luisa I thought you were saying Hannah Louise.....
I'm so pleased to hear you love You're Wrong About and Maintenance Phase!! I've been listening to YWA for years and can't stop recommending it to people - the thing I love most about it is how empathic they are and how that influences me to be a more empathic person as well. They really see the humans behind the stories and that's so important.
So delighted to hear that you listen to and love You're Wrong About and Maintenence Phase! I've been subscribed to them for months now and literally recently thought "I bet Kackie would be into these"! Glad to hear you're already a listener so I don't feel too guilty about not getting around to recommending them to you haha.
You did not go on too long about Maintenance Phase! It's so, so important for people who look like you to encourage people to learn about the experiences of people in larger bodies like me. I'm pretty versed in the anti-diet movement but I didn't know this podcast existed until you mentioned it so now I must add it to my Spotify. Have you read anything by Lindy West? I think you would enjoy her books because they hit that right balance between biting social commentary and millennial humor.
I’ve been listening to You’re Wrong About from your recommendation and loved it so now I’m on to Maintenance phase and after one episode I’m hooked. I’m 37 and you’re right I feel like I’m the perfect audience for this!
I recently got into the idea of piercing my ears and there’s something so regal about gold toned jewelry I think this feeling is also coming after the ancient civilizations art history class I took and getting to see all the beautiful gold trinkets that people would wear 🤩
When you said “I put my jewelry on” I immediately followed it with “just to go to the bodega” 😂 (The youths showed me this song and now I keep singing it)
We had a Jolly Jumper for my niece when she was younger (she’s 3 now) and it was the best! The fun she had in it & the joy I had watching her was hilarious.
Yesssss Mythic Quest and Ted Lasso! My husband is not a big feel all the feelings guy so the fact that he lives Ted lasso makes it somehow even more adorable and endearing💕
Watching mega late, but I’m absolutely in love with Mythic Quest! My favorite aspect of the show is that the character of Brad (Danny Pudi) is essentially Evil Abed from Community! Also, I maybe need to check out Maintenance Phase. My weight has been up and down my whole life in an extreme way, and I’ve absolutely been subject to a lot of things you mention the podcast diving into. Thanks for another delightful Favorites video!
FYI the Briotech Topical Skin Spray on Amazon is the exact same thing as the T28 SOS spray but at a fraction of the price! I just refill my T28 bottle with it lol
Thank you for the Jolly Jumper rec. I'm instantly getting that for my brother. He's about to become a first-time dad to a boy, and if that boy is anything like he was, he's going to need it! Think climbing the backyard fence at 3 years old, and my mom getting extra locks installed when he learned to open doors at 2 and run into the street... way too much energy for his own good. Speaking from experience, when Simon gets older asking him to "run around the house 20 times while you time him" might help.
@@kackie I kinda wish they had these for adults although I guess a trampoline is close to it? I'd survive maybe 6 minutes but I can imagine it'd be the BEST sleep medicine. 😂😂
Hey! Sodium hypochlorite, hypochlorous acid-it’s bleach. But like, a skin-friendly bleach. When we use it in wound care it’s called “Dakin’s solution.” Another place you’ll see it in the drugstore is “Occusoft” spray, for irritated eyelids. It’s a good antiseptic ingredient that’s not irritating to skin. I was surprised to see this ingredient on the shelves at sephora tbh, but there’s more evidence backing this ingredient than most things sephora will sell you.
I hadn't even gotten 30 seconds into this video, scrolled through the items mentioned and was on Sephora and ordered the kosas good body... before you even talked about it. If it's on your list and got your approval, I need to try it on my bacne asap!
i haven’t listened to the entire catalogue of you’re wrong about yet, but my favorite episode so far is about wayfair and child sex trafficking and how that all exploded last summer
I am digging this season of Making the Cut as well! The jean jacket Gary sent down the runway on last weeks episode will live in my dreams for years to come.
I've been loving the Kosas bodywash too. Even on Zoom calls, I notice my chest looks more glowy. For my back, I alternate between the Kosas and Neutrogena Acne Wash Redness Calming, because the Kosas is AHAs and the Neutrogena is BHAs. My skin is oily so I can take it. :)
You're Wrong about is my favorite podcast of all time. Closely followed by Maintenance Phase. I am disappointed that I have listened to their entire backlogs and now I have to wait for new episodes.
Ok, Kackie, I watched this video, and then binge watched both seasons of Making the Cut. Back to back. (Gary was my absolute fav) I'm here to ask of another show like that one I can watch now. lol Help! 2 Seasons wasn't enough!
New subscriber who has been shamelessly binging your content here. I can't wait to listen to Maintenance Phase! I've struggled with disordered eating/the link between mental health and my weight all my life and think it could definitely be a great tool in my journey to self acceptance. I'd love to hear your recommendations on sustainable clothing brands that are more size inclusive in a mid-range price if you know of any! Love your channel!
Finally purchased an AL cuff earring & it may have stayed gold for a couple months before it wore off. Was extremely disappointed because it wasn’t cheap😏
Well, I tried posting a link to a good article on hypochlorus acid, but the comment seems to have disappeared. 😂 Anyway, I found a few articles talking about it, and apparently it’s a “substance naturally created by our white blood cells that acts as the body’s first line of defense against bacteria, irritation, and injury”. It’s commonly used as a disinfectant (including for pools), but is also great for sensitive skin. One article specifically mentioned Tower 28 spray. ☺️ Edited to add: There is an article about the ingredient on Tower 28’s website, too.
Their fashion line The Row is very influential and gets knocked off repeatedly. Their taste and style is definitely highly regarded in the fashion world.

Also once while she was jumping we played a skydiving video on the tv & she lost her mind with excitement jumping along
Loved this! Also, intrigued by axiology. Any chance you might review those balmies? Fingers crossed...
I already did. I wasn’t impressed. 😕

Last night Simon DOUBLED his record 😂 he went on and on and on and then passed out

I'm so enjoying the Princess Diana series on You're Wrong About. It's great!
The SOS spray saves my maskacne and has helped my son’s acne. I love it. I have a mini in my purse and spray it after a long mask wear.
Ted Lasso and Mythic Quest are both seriously underrated, and they're both so good!
We stan a queen help dismantle fatphobia 👏 👏 👏

The DRESS from the first episode! I need it! It’s sold out on amazon but coming back, and the reviews on it are actually great, quality wise.
Also I love Gary.
Those freaking shoes!! I love those chaco shoes!
Do you wear some type of layering clasp for your necklaces? Mine always twist up immediately!

@@kackie have you listed to Sarah Marshal's other podcast??
Have you joined their patreon(s) for the bonus episodes yet? That is the stage I’m at with needing new content from them.

Ana Luisa is beautiful but that’s expensive for plated jewelry!
I wonder if it’s because it’s recycled gold? Fwiw the plating seems pretty hearty (and I swim in mine) but I know what you mean.
Uh yes. I love their style but i only wear solid gold jewelry, so i prefer to get delicate pieces for not much more by comparison.
Do you have any recommendations for silver jewelry that is by a good brand?

Oh my goodness! Thank you for the Kosas body wash recommendation! Always looking for KP solutions
The Jolly Jumper was my favourite as a baby! I would bounce until I passed out then get mad when someone tried to take me out.

Just received my Ana Luisa order today!!
I used the jolly Jumper for my first son in 1973 he loved it,, our relatives thought it was an awful thing to put him in
Where are your plugs from? Love how neutral toned they are. I’m looking for something that doesn’t clash with other things.
I love Poppy, I can’t wait to have my own ✨dinner party✨
DEENAH PAHTEE! 🙌🏻
You’ve convinced me to watch Making The Cut - I LOOOOVE Tim Gunn!!!!!
I'm sure you've answered this a million times, but what size are your ear gauges? It's such a perfect size
adore you haha!
I could listen to you talk about your favorites for an embarrassing amount of time 😂
You're Wrong About is fucking fantastic.

CROCOS! I am deceased
Omg thank you for the baby recommendation! I keep getting told those are “bad” and I just want my baby to be able to jump!
I mean obviously stay with them while they’re jumping lol
