Yes! Working from home has really let me explore my love of brightly colored and patterned clothes, ugly sandals, glitter eyeshadow, and insanely bold fragrance. I always thought my style was classic, bordering on minimalist. Ha! False.
@@Mmmelisssa Personally, I don't usually wear "fancy" things. Farm Rio does amazing dresses. They also do the most OTT lounge wear. I think it's just about putting the things on your body that make you happy. Like half the time I'm in some kind of bird printed blouse and bike shorts or a tie dye sweatshirt with a tiger on it and mom jeans. Have I been known to wear a ruffled dress to the dog park? Yes. But I wear it with my orange Birks, which seems totally reasonable. Let some chaos magic into your life. If the last few years have taught us anything (sigh, deep thoughts to follow) it's to stop waiting to do stuff. Tomorrow isn't guaranteed, nothing is.

My April favorite is the sun hat that I re-purposed recently. I had a pen explode in my bag and I got in my pastel pink hat. So I recently got inspired by the longer days to dye it and it turned out so cool. I even got offers to pay me to do it to for them!

I love ramie!! I learned about it in a textile materials class and there was a whole lecture on less common bast fibers. (linen and hemp being the common ones). Apparently ramie was more common in the 80s and fell away. What a shame because it's sturdy, glossy, it takes dye well, and it wears in softly like hemp. I used to have a knitted ramie men's sweater an it was 🤌
