    This is absolutely GOLD 💎 Thank you so much fr 💯 I’ve struggled with this my whole life but I just couldn’t pin point the problem. The way u broke it down saying “my listening was more advanced than movement” that just made it click. Like u said not only does these steps help u implement ur moves through what your listening to but it also teach you how to listen to the music in a way where it corresponds with your dancing. This video is so powerful 🙏

    I finally know my issue with musicality,it lies to how you dace:either to the song or the voice,I usually dance to the beat not voice

    Any tips of how to really feel the music when dancing? And stop thinking so much while dancing

    • @TypicalGMD
      @TypicalGMD ปีที่แล้ว +15

      Just try and connect all your moves and it makes it so you consistently do new moves without thinking as much. Feeling the music is just recognizing the beat pattern and recreating the moves of the song

      Honestly bro what used to work for me is to just dance constantly without the music in the mirror refining technique and seeing what works this way the added pressure from the music and the thoughts or what to hit next isn’t simultaneously clouding your mind at the time that way when the music is on not only do you have so much more of an arsenal but also you can just now focus on speed and vibrations of the song.

      @@kqdonversatile8233 So basically find your style and dance moves and when you find your unique style, then listen to music and sync your moves to the song 🎶

      Stop dancing in front of mirrors and allow your body to move as fast and intensely as you think in your mind

      I had the same problem with a student, he didn't feel the music, he just memorized the moves, I tried different things with him. Here is what worked for him, and changed his dancing completely.
      -Put any random song, you will listen to it a few times
      -First time close your eyes and don't move (you can sit, lay down, etc) then listen to the different instruments, bass, trumpets, piano, whatever you can hear, strong beats, and voice
      -Second time around, use ONE body part, like chest, arm, shoulder, leg, foot, etc. you can switch if you want
      -Third time, try to use 2 body parts at the same time, then 3 body parts, and then your whole body. By this time, you will know the song a lot more, so it'll be easier
      This is one exercise i used on my student and it worked a lot, there are many more exercises but i fee that i already wrote a lot haha, hope it helps 😊
