    I love how he explains the principal and instead of demonstrating it himself he puts the kid on the spot who asked the question to do with himself and figure it out himself. What a brilliant move by a teacher to have the student experience the answer in his own body rather than becoming a spectator looking at his favorite dancer do it but still not completely understanding. This is how dance should be taughtThis kid will never have problems with this question again

    Also brilliant that he had this young student perform the dance in front of his peers. Now long after the teacher is gone this student can teach the concept to the other students if he wishes. Also like him dancing in front of them increases his status in the group and also encourages the other kids to ask your own questions.

    How do you even dance to this type of music. Only thing I can concentrate on is the “ Pop sound” I hear occasionally. Seems like everything you can do to this type of beat is waving
    Holy crap! After a couple of days watching other videos on musicality and listening to the vibe of the music ive come up with many more solutions to dancing to this song without“ just waving“ like I said previously wow this stuff really works it’s genius

    Funny how you can have a specialty and not feel that is very much just because you do it easily. This kid just admitted how easy it is for him to do ground moves and think of new and innovative ways to move on the spot. I couldn’t do a ground move to save my life and nearly broke my wrist trying when I was younger. I would’ve given anything to just be able to do one ground move and this kid can do several If I was him I would really focus on that being my specialty the standup moves will come but I’d be a monster on the ground

    I know I’m contributing a lot to this thread sorry I guess the kid asked a question I always had but couldn’t get an answer until now. I see here also judging how this kid started moving initially that he was way way way too hard on himself. I didn’t think he had any standup moves judging by how he explained himself when he hasQuite an arsenal. I guess that’s another lesson to give yourself a break you’re better than you think you are

    Sir
    Whenever I freestyle
    I always wish to catch all the beats in a music and try to act like this is being choreographed
    My question is that
    Is it okay to dance for 15secs and then just walk for 10 sec and again start to freestyle
    Because freestyling continuously on a song for 4 mins makes me more exhausted and I loose the interest of freestyling on that song

    • @dzdmslrw8565
      @dzdmslrw8565 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Here's the problem, you don't have to catch all beats in the music, and that means you're creating expectations for yourself, and the way you "try to act that is choreographed" is unnatural for you. And you won't feel good after that. If you want to dance continuously, don't think too much about how the movement looks, just enjoy the music and have fun,
      Dance because you enjoy dance by itself, not to look cool
      In my opinion, if you dance for 15 seconds then walk for 10 secs, it's like when you rest for too long when you're lifting weights, it's ineffective for your practice

    • @dzdmslrw8565
      @dzdmslrw8565 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      And one more thing, instead of hitting all the accents in the music, try to go through the music, and play around with those two, and it'll make your dance way better
