Solidworks2025. Continuous Edge Variable Fillet Option

One of the new features in Solidworks 2025 is the 'continuous edge' option within the variable fillet options. I've spent a bit of time having a look at the new option and how a variable fillet created with the new option varies from the standard variable fillet. My first impression is the 'continuous edge' option is more robust than the pre Solidworks 2025 option, with Solidworks being able to construct the fillet in more cases than previously. I'm still not entirely sure what the new option does behind the scenes, as the information in the help is fairly limited. As far as I can tell, Solidworks calculates the edges of the fillet differently...
