i was advised by my local bike shop last weekend they are not compatible for cars with a spoiler on top of the hatch because it would just snap it off , maybe there is a work around for this little problem like a rubber triangle that sits on the rear window and holds the straps above the spoiler ?

Pointless video, doesnt show how to stop the bike swinging si the pedals dont hit the rear door.
