I had to stick weld a washer on a disc rim a couple days ago. Only had a stick welder available. I just turned the amps down to 60, and spot welded around it. Turned out useable
@@2hotscottpro thats right scott, I gaged him, and I also showed this other clown that gage, in reference to sheetmetal or wire gage is spelled without a u. This guy trying to tell a 25 year tin knocker and welder how to spell gage. 😄🤣😂 and somehow got my last comment deleted so he wouldn't be embarrassed. What a 🤡

With practice and the correct electrodes I've found you can stick weld about anything

Actually 14 gage is closer to 5/64" not 3/32". Just saying.
And gauge has a u in it, just saying.
