I’m running 275/70/18 Ridge grapplers on a stock bumper with no issues or modifications. Most guys run this size because it’s also the easiest to find in a pinch.
It does, I also have 1.25” Bora spacers to push the stock 18s out a bit. Another common size would be 285/65/18 and you could go 295 on either one with some pinch weld trimming.
Thats the tire size i am running, Nokian winter tires on Tundra wheels on my 2001 LX with 237k. My 2007 Tundra has the same tire size (KO2s) and sames wheels so i can switch them between the LX and Tundra depending on what kinda of trip i have planned. Not sure if you can go much bigger.
Interesting, as a belt and suspenders type of person, I thought you would stay away from Ironman. I personally don’t have any experience with them but my LC specialist refuses to install any of their products due to quality control issues.

So you are saying that you run 275 70 r18? on the LX470?
