Ma men! Nicely done. Excellent rig you have created. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! I appreciate it!
Nice rig you have there and loving the extras fitted ..
What a bad ass build!!!!💪👍✊ thank you sir!🙏 I
Awesome ride! Love that you’re still rocking the AHC!!!
Thanks! Going to keep AHC as long as I can! Probably need to replace the globes in the next year or so.
@@Turboactive curious if you have any rub issues running that tire size and keeping the AHC. Have an ‘03 LX and feel the same way about the “button” so don’t want to remove it. Thx in advance
@@wrpritchard2 no rub at all with the 285/65/18s they are the perfect match for this truck in my opinion: amzn.to/38MbxNm
@@Turboactive what tire size did you end up changing to? Better or worse than the 285/65?
@@zxline I went to a 275/70/18 same tire but honestly it's not as good as the 285/65/18. I'm going back next time
hell yeah , i would love to get a newer model of the lx470 and get majority of these mods done on it , would be the dream. subbed!
I bought this truck in 2018 so lucky I got one early. Couldn't afford the same truck today.
Very cool Rig. like the setup and your battery setup in back too ! Im looking into buying the LX soon ... Cheers !
Thanks I really love this truck! Get one while you still can the prices are going up every day it seems
@@Turboactive Yeah you got that right ! Take care.
I just love how the taillights resemble the Lincoln Aviator!!
Its good lookin that's for sure!
one of the most beautiful rig.
Thank you!!
Just awesome!
Great bumper choices!
Thank you. I am stoked at the end results. Personally I think they match eachother perfectly even though they are different companies.
DAMN I LIKE that setup-- especially when you said you have 1000 pounds of AMMO in it... I don't haul that much- but love my rifle... (I have 1892 winchester 44.40 with large loop and set screw like the Rifleman (Chuck Connors) and i've done trick shooting since I was 8 and love it-- i flip it with both hands- and shoot like he "suppose" to on the show- but I do it for REAL.. BUt I love that truck-- and the way you did it-- i'm keeping this vid and going to buy one and do it the same way... (was thinking of a GX first- but i like this better!!). THANKS
Thanks man! Yep I used to sell ammo back in the day haha! Thanks for the compliments this truck is awesome!
I just subscribed to your channel. Very nice rig and the way you did your setup. I’m very interested on how you done your window grid panels! I been wanting to fabricate a solution like yours that won’t cost the many 100s of dollars that they want from the name brand manufacturers. You should definitely do a video on it!
Ok I will do one! I made them myself out of some old wire shelving.
Beautiful truck!!!
Thank you, sir!
nice truck man.. sweet color
Thanks 👍 I love it.
Nice rig man!
Thanks! 👍 Glad you like it
Nice!
Cool ride!
Thanks!
I love that dissent bumper! I can't seem to find that bull bar though - only one I see on the site says it doesn't work with the LX grill. Was that a custom job for you?
Just an FYI, E85 doesn't generally save money. Your gas mileage plummets with E85 to the point that it's worse than premium gas per MPG...
Not true. The prices vary all the time. Sometimes it doesn't save money, but most of the time it does. I filled up for $1.99 a gallon on E85 last week. Premium was over $3.30. You do the math.
Also, I fill up from a place that sells 60% Ethanol, so it's E60 and gets better MPG than straight E85. Lots of places do that.
I love that you kept a lot of the stock LX platform. It is truly an amazing and very capable truck right out of the box. I agree on the 4x4labs rear bumper. It is by far the best design around for both the 80 series and 100 series. I love your cellphone booster idea, does it work well? Do you notice a big difference with it versus without it?
Right on! Yeah the LX is awesome the AHC really is great if you keep it in spec and don't try to make the truck into something it isn't. Yeah the booster works awesome, boosts the signal so you get better download speeds etc. Makes it much easier to send texts or check in on the real world while out on the trails.
@@Turboactive Completely agree on the AHC. I loved it on our previous LX470. And on our current LX570 it works fantastic both onroad and offroad! Looking into the cellphone booster you linked to, looks like a great solution. And the pricing isn't bad at all.
rear bumper is sick
4x4Labs
Very nicely done. What wheels are you using as in the complete size description please. What is the off set ?
Check the video description for a link to the wheels. Thanks!
u got the 06-07 model too! im rocking a 99
:)
i'm over here drooling...
Thanks!
Love the Yota MD. 3 keys, only one not broken. Just ordered 2.
2 questions. How do you keep the rear overhead light off with the rear open?
Also, where did you learn about that 3 bat electrical hookup, I like how it fits in there.
Rear overhead light has a switch on it. Also after a certain amount of time it will turn off automatically. I'm just good with batteries and electronics so I came up with it myself. Thanks!
Can you do a video about the e85 conversion. I’m interested in doing that to my rig.
Ok I will. Been loving it lately with the high gas prices but still cheap E85!
@@Turboactive my minivan is e85 it’s way cheaper rn
Very nice rig and nice bumper.. which bumper exactly do you have? Dissent? which one?
Thanks! Yes it's the Dissent aluminum front bumper
Awesome LX! I also have a 2002 lx, I want to keep the original suspension. But I really like the front and rear bumper, can you tell me what brand are those? Thanks
Yeah the front bumper is the Dissent aluminum front and the rear is 4x4Labs weld it yourself kit. I went with aluminum front to help with AHC. Just keep your AHC in spec and it should be awesome for you!
What brackets did you use for the antennas? I would like to relocate my UHF/VHF to the front like you have setup.
Very nice work.
I got the brackets from Gamiviti.com
Nice
Thanks!
NICE video-- and THANK YOU SO MUCH for calling it a TRUCK!!!! (pissed me off when IDIOTS call them CARS)... nice vid though- and i was thinking about getting one- and You helped me decide I AM going to..
Muh TRUCK. th-cam.com/video/QJ0q0fd_IVs/w-d-xo.html
Very nice truck. Do you have a video on the E85 upgrade? I think it would be a huge hit over on the 100 forum @ MUD. Edit- I found your thread on MUD. What a bunch of groupthink negative Nancy's on that one. Just like the AHC Nazi's whenever someone mentions sensor lift or overriding the speed sensor signal to the AHC ecu to trick it to stay in high over 20 mph. Anyway nice work and have a good one!
Edit- the first 2 pages were negative nancy groupthinkers then more inquisitive MUDDERS joined in -excellent!
Haha yep that's me. I love the e85 kit works great. I have a video showing an acceleration test between regular gas and E85 on here.
@@Turboactive Cool i'll look for it. I subscribed a little while back when you added the piggy back computer. Still thinking of adding a turbo?
@@kevinpavone3504 thanks man I appreciate it! Probably not turbo at this point but I am very interested in cams valves and headers. Will ultimately depend on Colorado emission laws. I hear it's going to be hard to have modified cars here soon :(
@@Turboactive I hear your concern there. I am not looking forward to the EPA regs coming our way nationally in the next four years either. Lord help us. In another one of your video's i noticed that you reviewed one of the pressure brake bleeder set ups (i saw a similar one in harbor freight the other day) & I need to flush the brake fluid in my 02 LX470 and was wondering if you were able to bleed yours with that setup.
@@kevinpavone3504 yes I did use the same vacuum bleeder to do my LX it worked perfectly!
Like the videos but AHC is a problem waiting to happen
Thanks but no, AHC is not any more of a problem than any other part of the vehicle. It is a military hydraulic suspension system.
Does the weeboost come with the antenna? How’d you go about mounting it to the back of the rig?
Yep it does. I mounted it to the rear using an antenna mount from YodaTEQ
@@Turboactive do you know the part name?
@@willrobvisuals Here you go: amzn.to/2Rg793w
Great setup. I have a 2008 LC that I am wanting to install the Badlands Winch as well. I'm curious what you did with the control box. I too have the Dissent front bumper. Did you have to relocate it?
Thanks! Yes I had to relocate the control box. Check out my other video on installing the Badlands Apex winch I show how I mounted the box behind the headlight
@@Turboactive good call. I was just looking at some of your other videos. Thanks
What’s your mpg
10-14 mpg depending how i drive, speeds, etc. On E85
This or 4 runner
This any day.
Do you still have it?
yep!
@@Turboactive what year? How much you spend to build it like that? How many miles? I am planning on getting one and build it like that, looking forward 2004-2007 model
@@tz230 it's a 2007. I spent a bunch lol
My guy...you loosely strapping the fire extinguisher and even more ironically firiaid kid on some flimsy brackets that. Those are projectiles waiting to happen, have everything 70mph rollover proof.
Подскажите вылет у дисков et
yep!
