I plan to sew along with the quilted scarecrow, quilted snowman, and Sherri McConnell’s quilt alongs. There are other I hope to do as well. Sewcialites 2 was my very first sew along and I loved it, soooo I declared 2023 the BOM year. I’ve kept up with 6 BOMs plus completed several other quilt tops. Sew alongs and BOMs are for sure my favorite way to enjoy quilting ❤ thanks Kimberly and FQS for being a huge part of that inspiration

8:57 I really like the small Log Cabin Blocks and the 2.5 scrappy blocks. I love scrappy and love seeing ideas! I will definitely be making these as a quilt in 2024. The Quilted Snowman and Lori’s Christmas Blocks will be added to my 2024 quilting list. Thanks for all you do.
I think my favorite is Quilty Fun Row Along because of the variety of blocks. I get bored with making the same block over and over again, and this one looks great for scraps. You are looking really good! Thanks!
Love how you organized your binder with Lori's new sheets. Great ideas on how to utilize it throughout the year as you complete and add new projects. So many new projects for 2024. Don't know if I'll be able to do them all, but enjoyed seeing them. I love love love the fabric called Picnic!!! I'm sewing twin size quilts for my 8 grand daughters and the fabric is so feminine !!! So def want to pic up some of that !! I really love the cottage temperature quilt blocks. Very creative. I think that’s my favorite, along with Kona quilt, which I will make for my youngest grandson. Wait! There’s more! I also really like the paper foundation piecing project and the Make a Wish quilt and… I could go on forever! Thanks for the inspiration!

Kimberly, you never cease to amaze me. I got so excited about your new year organizing plan I ran over and put the quilt pages in my cart as I already have Lori’s binder. I liked every project you showed so cannot pick just one. I plan on getting my binder set up like yours and stitching everything you are. Try at least since I also cross stitch, knit, and do paper crafts. I hope I hope I hope I get lucky. I plan on doing the breast cancer project as I am a two time survivor and was diagnosed this year with breast cancer a third time. When I win the championship and they give me the gold belt buckle I want this bull retired. 😂

I will definitely be sewing strawberry garden! First quilt I made was all hallows ever sampler (what was I thinking) let’s just say I learned an awful lot about quilting awfully fast. I binge watch every FQS video! LOL. I work healthcare and needed an outlet during the pandemic Quilting and FQS kept me sane.
I really don't know how Kimberly manages so many quilts! I probably start more than I finish. Lol I do enjoy sewing along and doing small bits of the quilts at a time. I am most excited about the Moonbeams Charity Quilt. I will also try to do the Riley Blake Shine Together Quilt and either the Hometown Holiday Sampler Quilt, the Cozy Christmas QAL, or the Quilty Fun Row Along all by Lori Holt. Additionally, I would like to do the Quilting Life BOM, The RBD Block Challenge, and the Made With Love QAL. We'll see what happens in reality! The binder with planning pages looks like a very useful tool. Lori Holt has done it again!
You have so many great quilts planned for 2024 that I had to watch Friday's video three times to narrow down my choices to something I can realistically handle. I'm definitely doing the new free scrap quilt FQS is offering, the 2024 temperature quilt, Lori Holt's Christmas quilt and the 2024 Designer Mystery Quilt.
Great livestream. The one that I am looking forward to the most is the Moonbeam Quilt. I will be sewing along on that Moonbeam, Quilted Scarecrow, Quilted Snowman, the 2024 Designer Mystery, Petite Four, Vintage Christmas, and Scrappy Strings. That’s about all I can fit in with quilts I am making for my grandkids.

Wow! 2024 is going to be amazing! Love Lori Holt's new organization system. I'm looking forward to see how Kimberly sees the Shine Together blocks. Use of charm packs for guard rails and challenge is great idea. I might try that approach as well, but am definitely going to do the Piece and Quilt Sampler and the temperature quilt. As always, you and team do such an awesome job with videos, patterns and all the things!
My top 3 picks of the SALs that you talked about today include, Paper Hearts, Vintage Sunburst and Made with Love. I plan to try to sew along with these three. I will probably try to do a SAL with Corey Yoder again next year. I haven’t finished the one I started this year with her so, maybe I should make sure I do that. I love her patterns too and I didn’t see any of her SALs in your list today, but maybe you will join when something comes up that appeals to you. I love your videos, Kimberly. They are always so full of information and great inspiration even if I don’t join in on the sewing part. I always learn something that helps improve my piecing or cutting! Thank you for all you do. I know getting ready for these videos takes a lot of work both prior to doing it and the “clean-up” afterwards. We all appreciate it so much! 💗

I absolutely love Lori Holt's Millie's dresses!! I want to sew along with you on that one for sure. My next fav is the Mercantile Sampler & I really like your design for the temperature quilt. If I do the temperature quilt, I think it would be fun to have the tree next to the house represent what month it it.. for instance, here in the north east it could have leaves, no leaves, fall leaf colors, snow, etc... so fun! My favorite quilts you showed today is Millie's Dresses because it reminds me of the dresses my grandmother used to wear. The quilt I will most likely will sew is the Hometown Holiday Sampler quilt. I will probably make a small wall quilt of Millie's Dresses. There were so many nice things today, it is hard to choose just two.
Hearing you say seeing more purple caught my attention. Hey Violet is a beautiful quilt and the fabric has such lovely shades of purple. My favorite is snowman and scarecrow from Lori Holt - Lori is just amazing with her designs - I get so happy thinking about fun creating her quilts : ). I have a big three inch plain binder with name of fabric line/designer and quilt patterns I am considering and I use sheet protectors for the pattern/notes. I like the use of planner and numbers to prioritize based on sew along dates. You inspired me to add Kona Traditional Setting and I like how open you are about your changes/color preferences/slight design modifications. I really should take notes throughout these videos; instead I keep ordering thinking "this is the last thing" - it never is! I have signed up for the Designer mystery and Lori Holt's Snowman kit. Now that I (FINALLY) have grandbabies (waited 40 years, but I did get twins - one of each), I'm looking for things for them. I think I'm going to do the log cabin blocks, but probably not until January. I'm also thinking about the temperature quilt. I'm turning 75 at the beginning of December and will be doing a cross stitch temperature tree and a temperature crocheted afghan, so adding the quilt makes sense-basing the year starting on my birthday. Figure that's a great way to celebrate that year. I'm also looking forward to Tula Pink's Roar fabric - my grandson will probably love that in a couple of years. You've inspired me to pull out several quilt kits and get them set up and plan for the new year!

Love Lori's new Busy Bee planner pages! I have been looking for a temperature quilt idea that I really like. I was trying to plan out one using houses and trees. But yay! You've done it for me!! My idea was to use the temperatures from the year we were married. 2024 is our 30 year anniversary so I'm very excited for that quilt and hope to sew along with you, and im excited that triangle paper will make it so easy. I love so many of the projects you have planned and have trouble picking favorites. I think the mercantile sampler sew along, quilty row along, piece and quilt, and strawberry bom were top on my list. I think I will join in the quilty fun row along. Just an observation as I see your many plans I notice that you use the same collection on multiple projects. I understand that it happens occasionally and you need to use the designers fabric on their design, but I really enjoy when you use a variety of collections. I also realize that often your staff make the same quilt in a variety of colors. Just remember the greater variety you show the more we need those fabrics. Lol
I can't wait for the Quilted Snowman and the Quilted Scarecrow. I will be sewing those. I am also looking forward to seeing you sew the Enchanted Star. I ain't to sew that one too but am apprehensive when it comes to using fabric from the different sollwctions that I like because some are SO different. You always make these work so well!
Just adored the Fig Tree Sew Along that FQS is producing the pattern. Would love to stitch it, I’m just afraid it may be a little difficult but you always share tips & tricks which I love. The adorable Scarecrow quilt is definitely a must!

I plan on doing the breast cancer project as I am a two time survivor and was diagnosed this year with breast cancer a third time. When I win the championship and they give me the gold belt buckle I want this bull retired. 😂

Purple was my daughter, Zella’s, favorite color. She would’ve loved this quilt and design! I might have to make it in her memory 💜
I will definitely be sewing strawberry garden! First quilt I made was all hallows ever sampler (what was I thinking) let’s just say I learned an awful lot about quilting awfully fast. I binge watch every FQS video! LOL. I work healthcare and needed an outlet during the pandemic Quilting and FQS kept me sane.

I really don't know how Kimberly manages so many quilts! I probably start more than I finish. Lol I do enjoy sewing along and doing small bits of the quilts at a time. I am most excited about the Moonbeams Charity Quilt. I will also try to do the Riley Blake Shine Together Quilt and either the Hometown Holiday Sampler Quilt, the Cozy Christmas QAL, or the Quilty Fun Row Along all by Lori Holt. Additionally, I would like to do the Quilting Life BOM, The RBD Block Challenge, and the Made With Love QAL. We'll see what happens in reality! The binder with planning pages looks like a very useful tool. Lori Holt has done it again!
You have so many great quilts planned for 2024 that I had to watch Friday's video three times to narrow down my choices to something I can realistically handle. I'm definitely doing the new free scrap quilt FQS is offering, the 2024 temperature quilt, Lori Holt's Christmas quilt and the 2024 Designer Mystery Quilt.
Great livestream. The one that I am looking forward to the most is the Moonbeam Quilt. I will be sewing along on that Moonbeam, Quilted Scarecrow, Quilted Snowman, the 2024 Designer Mystery, Petite Four, Vintage Christmas, and Scrappy Strings. That’s about all I can fit in with quilts I am making for my grandkids.
I too really like the quilted snowman and scarecrow. I plan on watching you do them all while I catch up with all my projects.

Wow! 2024 is going to be amazing! Love Lori Holt's new organization system. I'm looking forward to see how Kimberly sees the Shine Together blocks. Use of charm packs for guard rails and challenge is great idea. I might try that approach as well, but am definitely going to do the Piece and Quilt Sampler and the temperature quilt. As always, you and team do such an awesome job with videos, patterns and all the things!

My top 3 picks of the SALs that you talked about today include, Paper Hearts, Vintage Sunburst and Made with Love. I plan to try to sew along with these three. I will probably try to do a SAL with Corey Yoder again next year. I haven’t finished the one I started this year with her so, maybe I should make sure I do that. I love her patterns too and I didn’t see any of her SALs in your list today, but maybe you will join when something comes up that appeals to you. I love your videos, Kimberly. They are always so full of information and great inspiration even if I don’t join in on the sewing part. I always learn something that helps improve my piecing or cutting! Thank you for all you do. I know getting ready for these videos takes a lot of work both prior to doing it and the “clean-up” afterwards. We all appreciate it so much! 💗

I’m still a beginner so many of the other planned quilts are still beyond me. I absolutely love Lori Holt's Millie's dresses!! I want to sew along with you on that one for sure. My next fav is the Mercantile Sampler & I really like your design for the temperature quilt. If I do the temperature quilt, I think it would be fun to have the tree next to the house represent what month it it.. for instance, here in the north east it could have leaves, no leaves, fall leaf colors, snow, etc... so fun! My favorite quilts you showed today is Millie's Dresses because it reminds me of the dresses my grandmother used to wear. The quilt I will most likely will sew is the Hometown Holiday Sampler quilt. I will probably make a small wall quilt of Millie's Dresses. There were so many nice things today, it is hard to choose just two.
Hearing you say seeing more purple caught my attention. Hey Violet is a beautiful quilt and the fabric has such lovely shades of purple. My favorite is snowman and scarecrow from Lori Holt - Lori is just amazing with her designs - I get so happy thinking about fun creating her quilts : ). I have a big three inch plain binder with name of fabric line/designer and quilt patterns I am considering and I use sheet protectors for the pattern/notes. I like the use of planner and numbers to prioritize based on sew along dates. You inspired me to add Kona Traditional Setting and I like how open you are about your changes/color preferences/slight design modifications. Thank you for the comprehensive walk through on your 2024 quilt projects.

I really should take notes throughout these videos; instead I keep ordering thinking "this is the last thing" - it never is! I have signed up for the Designer mystery and Lori Holt's Snowman kit. Now that I (FINALLY) have grandbabies (waited 40 years, but I did get twins - one of each), I'm looking for things for them. I think I'm going to do the log cabin blocks, but probably not until January. I'm also thinking about the temperature quilt. I'm turning 75 at the beginning of December and will be doing a cross stitch temperature tree and a temperature crocheted afghan, so adding the quilt makes sense-basing the year starting on my birthday. Figure that's a great way to celebrate that year. I'm also looking forward to Tula Pink's Roar fabric - my grandson will probably love that in a couple of years. You've inspired me to pull out several quilt kits and get them set up and plan for the new year!

The ones I wrote down are mercantile simpler sew along, Moda block heads 5, 2024 cottage temperature quilt, The quilted scarecrow and the quilted snowman. Love Lori's new Busy Bee planner pages! I have been looking for a temperature quilt idea that I really like. I was trying to plan out one using houses and trees. But yay! You've done it for me!! My idea was to use the temperatures from the year we were married. 2024 is our 30 year anniversary so I'm very excited for that quilt and hope to sew along with you, and im excited that triangle paper will make it so easy. I just need to decide my fabric line. Thank you!

Love them all, especially Lori Holt's as always, but I am seriously considering that beautiful Fig Tree strawberry quilt - I love strawberry things and it's so pretty! I still consider myself a confident beginner so it might be a little more than I can handle right now. Of course, I could just buy it and have it all ready to go after I get a little more experience under my belt. No one says I have to make it right away. 😊

My favorite (and it was a difficult decision!) is the Quilty Scarecrow. I immediately got on the reservation list for this quilt kit. Kimberly you are quite ambitious with this list of 2024 quilt projects! I can’t keep up with you but I will enjoy doing a few projects next year. I’m loving those Lori Holt binder pages, great idea!

I love so many of the projects you have planned and have trouble picking favorites. I think the mercantile sampler sew along, quilty row along, piece and quilt, and strawberry bom were top on my list. I think I will join in the quilty fun row along. Just an observation as I see your many plans I notice that you use the same collection on multiple projects. I understand that it happens occasionally and you need to use the designers fabric on their design, but I really enjoy when you use a variety of collections. I also realize that often your staff make the same quilt in a variety of colors. Just remember the greater variety you show the more we need those fabrics. Lol
I can't wait for the Quilted Snowman and the Quilted Scarecrow. I will be sewing those. I am also looking forward to seeing you sew the Enchanted Star. I ain't to sew that one too but am apprehensive when it comes to using fabric from the different sollwctions that I like because some are SO different. You always make these work so well!
Just adored the Fig Tree Sew Along that FQS is producing the pattern. Would love to stitch it, I’m just afraid it may be a little difficult but you always share tips & tricks which I love. The adorable Scarecrow quilt is definitely a must!

I just love the "Picnic" Fabric. I will definitely be doing something with that line. I will be sewing along with you for the Quilted Scarecrow, Snowman and the Quilty Fun row along. I will also be doing the Valentine quilt too. Glad I've got the book from when it originally came out. I love the Cuddle up Sampler using Starberry from Corey Yoder. I'll be looking for more info on that one. You always make my Friday. I always look forward to the longer videos. We all need a FatQuarter staff to help us along with our sewing too!
