I just love your progress. You are so inspiring. I hand sew so it takes me forever especially since I cross stitch also. I know my limitations but you really inspire me. OMG, your three inch blocks are insane! I love the Hoffman 1895 print. I have used it in several different colors.
The sample layouts would be a cute addition to your binder and help you remember the collection later if you look back at the binder

Hi Kimberly, when I was in college I hated the color royal blue so I forced myself to use it a bit in my art projects. You should throw in some of those (gasp!) purples to spice things up!

Have you thought about turning your (I think they were 2" squares) into the Scrappy Crossroads Quilt from p78 in the Scappiness is Happiness book by Lori Holt? I love ❤️ that pattern, unfortunately. I haven't had time to make it. I'm so behind, but I plan on making a quilt from Moda Blockhead for next year's donation to the American Legion fundraiser. I like how you tell it like it is though for you. I also like that you mentioned you hate Halloween because I hate it also. I like fall, pumpkins leaves even scarecrows are fine for fall but cannot stand the occult part of Halloween.

I like your Kona blocks better than the pattern's block. Great adaptation. You could make a pillowcase using the Tula Pink Roar. Always like seeing what new fabric has come in. I'm a Halloween fan so I made a note of all those new collections.
I keep asking for Lori’s binders to be made with d-rings then Kimberly wouldn’t have so much trouble. Maybe they would listen to Kimberly.

I think it’s all paper pieced, so that makes it a little more beginner friendly to me. 😊 Also, you’ll have 6 months to practice before the kickoff!

I think you do quite a bit of weight lifting. Piles of fabric can be weighty! Gives you something to tell the kids!
Ok I have to ask this… why are you SO down on purple? You said your mom loves purple. It’s so negative to all the purple lovers. I have a friend who is down on pink. All I hear is how she has to replace the pink. All the colors look SO GOOD together. They complement each other. Ok IMHO. I love your quilts and cross stitch and I really want to know when you sleep? How do you divide your time!?
