Well it's definitely an old house you're on the right track as far as gutting it but be careful how you do it you don't open up a can of worms chances are that house has got old wiring in it

Just a note Brayden, when you gut the wall board or plaster, set a box fan in a window and open window/door on other end to exhaust the dust. Wear a N-95 mask to protect your lungs. Take care and enjoy the progress you make on the old girl. Rog/Iowa

Making moves
A word to the wise ,from an old man. You can gut the bathroom that will make you money . Sand the heart pine floors and refinish them ,they will look awesome ! Leave the ceilings and walls just wash and repair them , the trim sand and paint again . Give the ceilings a nice coat of white paint then a nice neutral color for the walls . Renting is a pain people don't care about your house like you do , live in it ,sell it at a big profit and build what you want . I have been in this business a long time , get your money out of it and move on . I hope this helps young man congrats

I think the battery location is horrible. I had one like that. It was better under the seat like the Honda I had.
You ever get parts or anything for Allis Chalmers 5050? If so, me a 24 year old needs a couple things.. definitely need help on maintenance and mechanical work. No one around where I live (Alabama) knows how to work on it. I could do it myself but I don’t want to end up owing/paying for more than what I started with.

A little paint goes a long way. I've fixed old houses, no need to rip the sheetrock. Make a lot of work for yourself.

DON'T RENT THAT HOUSE ! You'll be dealing with deadbeats who will tear that house up and you'll fight to get them out and spend your time and money always fixing all the damage they do. Don't ever rent it Brayden, never !
