One way I always know when God Is Speaking To Me Is When I Get Confirmation. I'm so glad that he leads,guides,directs us,if only we will be still.

Great job Corie, I can really see you growing in spirit and knowledge. My grandmother told me one night she was asleep and someone called her name. She got up and was shaken that no one was there. She said she went into the kitchen for some water and looked out across the field and saw our house on fire. She ran over to wake us up and get us out. I don’t remember it because I was a baby. She told me she knew that was God calling her name and waking her up to save us. We never know the impact of what God might use us to do to help someone else. 😊 God bless you.

You know, I am 64, live alone, with my best friend Sadie. She's half aussie, half healer. I live in north central Texas and the heats brutal here. I was walking Sadie and talking to God. I have been thru the fire again recently but I heard on my heart, in ALL things be grateful, so I stopped and thanked God for my blessings AND being thru the fire. I have struggled with knowing God's voice, sometimes it's a whisper but sometimes it's loud. I pray, God please, I don't hear well sometimes, so please make it clear. If it's good, positive, and glorifies God ,it's God, if it's not, u know where it comes from. Sorry for the rambling,but let me tell you one thing. Keep planting seeds. We might not see the see search for the light, but know, it does. God bless you.

Well, sister, I have to believe that God is speaking to me through you. I am going through a very rough season, I pray to hear and discern his voice. I have prayed, and then a youtube short will pop into my feed that answers my prayer in some fashion. Something else I pray for is acceptance, the ability to accept his answer, or do as he wills. Thank you, bless you, God is using you. Glory be to God.

I try more and more every day to be less “of the world” and more “of God”, there’s a song that says “I don’t want to get accustomed to this world below” and I try to remind myself daily of this. It’s hard sometimes to feel so different from most all the people around you but that feeling reminds me that as followers of Christ we are “set apart”. I hear his voice with my heart, not my ears. Thank you for once again having church with all of us and taking the time to put together this devotional ❤

You have been blessed with such a soft lilting voice that your message is easy to listen to. For some reason I have never felt close to God in a church setting, only when I am out in nature can I hear his voice. I am always amazed that when I am going through a challenging time and I open the Bible randomly…the answer has always been on that page!!

I appreciate these videos you do. And I’m a birder so I love all birds but how you have talked about the hawks it’s interesting bc I recently had a tooth pulled that was extremely difficult bc many reasons and I was praying saying please God help me be calm and get through this and outside the window was a Swallow Tailed Kite soaring back and forth… the next week I had an appt for something else and I was anxious asking God for help and there it was again! Lol then just recently was my birthday and I was unfortunately sick but my dad was driving me and right outside our community gate soared a swallow tailed kite so I definitely feel God is showing me He is there for me 🤗❤️

An experience I had just a few days ago. My friend told me in confidence that she had paid a bill for someone who asked to borrow money to pay the bill. My friend knew that the person would not easily be able to repay a loan, so she made it a gift. Because she had the means to do it. This really spoke to my heart and I felt the Holy Spirit telling me to pay for someone’s oil change! Yes, oil change. Who suddenly thinks “I’m going to pay for an oil change” for a friend? Apparently God knows this person’s need and is prompting me to meet that need, because I can.
Bless you, God does lead to us to help people, even if it seems strange, he makes it all work out 😁
I realized from this video what a pure heart is. Nobody can be good all the time. God speaks to us out of Love for us if we are not distracted. Pure heart is not perfection. It is when Love is the first thing out of your heart. Just as when it is your first thought in creating something for us. ☀️🙏🙏❤️🔥

For so long I wanted so desperately to hear God speaking to me. In my bible studies, small groups and in social circles whenever I heard people say that God said something to them I felt less than and jealous. Later , I came to know That God speaks to me in so many other ways, but mainly through his word by reading the bible. The main thing that brings me comfort is that I am able to speak to Him And I feel he hears me, especially when I cry out. This is a very good topic for you to speak on as I believe many people think about this. For whenever reason we don't bring it up. Thank you. Your Christian upbringing really shows.

I’ve never “heard” God speak to me except through Scripture until recently. I promise you know it loud and clear. I was praying one night and it was like I was interrupted with a command not to continue doing something I had been doing with my children. It wasn’t an audible voice but just a clear thought, but I knew Who it came from. I’m 63 years old and this is the first time. But I knew Who it was.

If I may, would you all pray for a financial situation that I'm seeking and praying to God about. I do have a prayer request for you.. ive had some trauma in my life and most recently my mother passing.. i started having panic attacks and now i get stressed easily.. ive been in Gods word daily and dealing with it thru prayer and study and praise and thanksgiving to Him.. but it does help when other Christians intercede for us.. so please include me in your prayers.. Excellent message Corie. I have always had the faith that God does lead me toward a solution when I’m perplexed and ask Him. I have to be very quiet in my mind, not allow anything to be thought. Then , soon i wait, the message, God’s will comes through to me. I know it’s God, because His divine grace & directed according to Him, is often not at all what I could ever have imagined on my own. It’s always complete & sometimes, God intuits to me to slow down & refrain. At 61, the answers I have sought, well it’s been proven time & time again!

Lovely presentation and message. I'm much older than you and sometimes am still unsure. I do know if what I hear is critical, it's my voice. If it's loving and forgiving, it's God's voice. As old as I am I still struggle with listening. Hearing that still small (quiet) voice. Psalm 46:10. Be still and know that I am God.

I would only add that if the "voice" someone is hearing brings confusion and anxious thoughts, it is not God's voice. The Holy Spirit, who teaches and guide us in all things, brings peace and clarity not confusion. Continue being obedient to the Lord's voice. It's blessing us all!

This whole story has given me such a great guideline for telling my own testimony. I have struggled to get it all out properly and this struck something in my mind that completely opened up a way for me to present it properly and to help me share my experience with others knowing it is going to be of help to them ultimately. I have learned that if the thoughts are encoring me to serve my neighbor or friends then I might as well consider it being God's voice. If I get what could be an answer but it's not what I want, I need to look closer at myself.

Dr. Charles Stanley always said, LISTEN,,, Find a quiet place and listen for God's voice,, and its so very true. Another good verse, and you pointed out many is, Isaiah 28:23 "Listen and hear my voice, Pay attention and hear my words."

Great devotional!! In my experience, there r many minute facets to God's 'speaking' to us. However, this is a 1000' overview based on my limited knowledge/experience w/ the Christian faith......God 'speaks' to ur soul, ur core being and the jest of the thought is in our best interest of growth and solidifying the God/person relationship. It ('voice') is always positive, selfless, compassionate, and in the vain of service (mainly to others). Contrarily, 'thoughts' that r self-interest/serving or negative (read as: judgemental; self-glorifying) r of self. Therefore, to discern whether the thought is of myself or God, I simply ask myself....'who ultimately benefits from this thought....me or others'? For me, the answer to that question will quickly reveal the 'author' of the thought.

I've only had a few instances of God speaking directly to me, the major one was during my NDE. It takes me at least a few days to realize that God has spoken to me about something, but I have always been a little dense about things like that. I've read the Bible all the way through and I never felt God was speaking to me during that time. I used to pray a lot and never heard God's voice during that time either. Thank you, Corie, for helping us depressed people get through our struggles, you are an earthly angel. God bless!

i first encountered Hawks in 2010 i think it was late spring still had snow on the rd i was driving into lake fontana nc n a huge hawk came down in front of my windshield n it was making me follow him n then about 1/4 mile later he flew in to a tree i seen him several times while i was there n ever since i have seen hawks n i immediately get the feeling i’m where i’m supposed to be like i’m on the right path in life thanks for sharing God with us ❤❤❤

Corie, obviously, God brought me to your family because I’m still listening to this! You’re explaining this in a way that I can understand. In plain language. I appreciate that. I have spent my whole life trying to be as independent as possible given that I was born with a disability. unfortunately, my family is not the answer they’ve proven that I have to depend on the kindness of strangers at times so if you could send up a prayer because I know I have to find the right people I would appreciate that😊
