❤I love Bible study anywhere, any time. Thank you for sharing with us the Word of God❤ I know I've read this a hundred times probably, over the year's,but this time it penetrated my heart deeply. Now I added it to the Lord's prayer that I start off my prayer time with, in the morning and at bedtime. Give us this day our daily bread and then (Matt 4:4) and Father please give us the bread of heaven too. Jesus is the bread of heaven and You hath said, " man shall not live by bread alone but by Every word that proceeded out of the mouth of God". As a result I try to write down a new scripture every day and memorize it. The Word of God is Life to us. Every word.❤❤❤❤❤
Corie, enjoy hearing you do these devotions. I guess even tho I have serious physical problems and my hubby is in a long-term facility, we put all our faith & trust in God, knowing He will take care of us. That's why I don't get into all the prepping things people do. When hubby was first disabled in 2008 & had no pay coming in we struggled terribly. But I can remember getting down to barely anything in our cabinet or fridge to eat, God would always provide thru a neighbors gift or a family member bringing food. Our bills somehow got paid. I remember one time, I barely had any gas in my car, but that morning I drove to church, came home & laid on the couch & prayed...it was Easter Sunday and we had nothing to fix a meal with. As I laid there praying, there was a knock on our kitchen door. One of my sisters brought in a complete meal, nothing fancy, just good food that wouldn't take long to fix & we had plenty! It was one of the best meals we'd had in a long time! Thats why I don't worry. I know my life, hubby's life & our family's lives are all in God's control. Even now with our physical health problems worsening, I know God has a plan and we will be taken care of by the Master, our loving heavenly Father. He's blessed us both in a lot of ways. Thank you for this, and may God bless you, Austin, your sweet gift you're carrying, Katie & her precious gift, too. I love your whole family! Your mom prays for us faithfully, and I keep all y'all and sweet Granny in my prayers! Hugs and blessings from VA!
Corie, this message came on a day, once again, when I needed to hear it. I’ve always had a tendency to worry about food and security for my family. But in every instance I can remember my worry has been unnecessary. Just as a need was to become critical God has stepped in to secure us and allow us to be safe. I will always believe God expects us to have some kind of plan in taking responsibility for ourselves but not to the point of ignoring all the natural gifts and talents that are God given. We all need to take time to reflect and give thanks every day.
I love the sermon on the mount! I am learning to wait on God, whose timing is not the same as ours, but it's always perfect! I think when we don't trust God, it's a way that we just block our help from God. It's so hard to keep our eyes upon Him and trust that He will make a way for us sometimes, but we have to if we want to store up the right kind of treasures in heaven. Everyone has probably heard the old expression, "you can't take it with you"!
Thank you, Corie. My granddaughter just finished reading Matthew 5, 6 & 7 to me, NKJV. It's always a fun time doing Q & A with her. Jesus preached hell fire in those chapters, and more people should be learning that side of Him as well.
Very helpful. Exactly what i need to hear right now. Worrying over a child, no matter how old as my children are all in their 30's is indescribable. Thank you;
Thank you, Corie, for this sweet reminder to focus on Christ. As my family and I deal with daily stress, it gets exhausting. But the Sovereign Lord sees us and cares. :) God bless you, dear friend!
My grandma told me to lay up my treasures in heaven and I invested in the spiritual reward of working with children and now Bible study 🎉 Your message helped me today with the reminder that when I seek God all that I wanted is Added. Thanks again Corie!
Hi Corie, Thank you for sharing the Sermon on the Mount. Our treasures are our Family and Our Relationship with Jesus and being a Blessing to others.😊❤🙏🏻
Thanks Corrie. One of my favorite passages is that piece in Matthew about the birds of the air and the lilies of the fields. Very intense teachings that go way beyond ordinary thinking. Also what precedes it about not judging less you be judged. I think humility could correct many of the wrong ways in our present world. I feel that you have a very strong feeling for the higher way of thinking. God bless you.
Let’s hunger and thirst for the eternal pathways of God. In the glitter-obsessed and distracted eyes of the world, we may not be bigger, better, best, but we sure are blessed.
Thank you so much for this devotional. Anytime I start to worry about something I will remember the sermon on the mount and it starts to calm me immediately. I know He will supply what I, as His Child, will need and I am content with everything He provides for me. We can take nothing with us when we pass from this world so, we do need to focus on Him, spend time with Him in His word and in prayer and do His will He has for me, not my own will. Thanks again for sharing. It has really helped me today. Praying for you Katie and those two little rascals on the way that are going to keep all of you on your toes! Hugs from the south east coast of Florida 😎🦩🌞🦩😎
well said Corie!!! great explanation!!! we all must not store up treasures here on earth but store up Heavenly treasures n we do that by staying focused on God!!!❤❤❤
Thank you Corrie. I know you do not do this for the praise of man, but just know God is using this in big ways. Today is ENOUGH to think about. Speaks to me. PRAY for me if you will that I will be with family on Christmas. Thank you.
Beautifully done my friend. I’m glad you got something from the sermon. I do ask that you pray for me every Sunday that I will get myself out of the way and let the Holy Spirit take over. The christian life you live and your prayer and study time really shows in your devotional videos. I always pick up things from you every time I watch them, you are a blessing. God bless you.
Thank you Corrie! I’m old enough to know this BUT sometimes my natural man takes my eyes off of what’s truly important! My heart’s desire is to to die to self…more of Him less of me! Congratulations on the gift of a precious baby to come forth! You and Austin will lead your little one to Him by the lives you live before your little boy! Blessings to you both ❤
A very wonderful and powerful devotional. I love to read The Sermon on the Mount. Our Father is so clear on what we need to focus on. Thank you for the video.
Beautiful Corie. Thank you for sharing this. I often worry about various things, but I know if I just surrender it over to God, that he's got my back. And that's an awesome feeling and relief. Thank you for the prayers, I pray for y'all daily as well as your followers.
Thank you for sharing! Above all-thank you for loving and serving Jesus! It matters for all eternity! So happy for you and Austin and the news of your pregnancy! 🙏💙
I sincerely do believe that, by all the signs we are witnessing nowadays, our Redemption does drawl near. No man knoweth the day or the hour, only our Heavenly Father knows, but the Bible says that we would know by the seasons. I firmly believe that Trumpet is getting ready to blow. The most important thing that everyone should be doing now is to repent and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. 🙏🏻
Wow, I'm re-reading the Bible and at Luke right now. I literally, JUST a few hours ago, read chapter twelve where Jesus talks about not worrying about what we need. I'm wondering if God is trying to hit me over the head a little bit :) I'm listening! Thanks so much for these devotionals, absolutely love them.
Great message! I looked up " worry" once, and one of the definitions is what hounds do to a fox when they catch it. That's what worry does to us. I can't wait to see the reveal of the little first cousins. 😎😎🤢
Hi Corie, thank you so much for your friends sermon I enjoyed it an when I can I read the readings you have done! It does help me & I appreciate you taking the time to read them.God bless you an keep you an your family. ❤ 🙏 Jan
Thanks Corie I enjoyed it very much it helped me!! All so will you please pray for me I may have to surgery on my knee and I will need the strength and help from the lord.
I’m always in awe of just how much God loves us. Sometimes I feel like I should “take care of things” and not burden God-unfortunately, that’s a tactic of Satan. Such a sweet reminder that He wants to carry our burdens. Thank you, little mama 😊
Thank you Corie for the devotional! What a great lesson. Sometimes I feel more like a Martha than a Mary sometimes but the Lord always redirects me. I am so thankful for that too! ❤
Corie, your devotional videos always encourage me in my walk with the Lord. Because of one you did a few months ago I've started having more regular prayer and bible reading time. Thank you!
Wow! What a great message, and one that I got so much from as an over-thinker! As always, you have such a gift for these messages, and I really enjoyed hearing what you had to say! Thank you, and God bless you and your family 🙏
