I used to be a veterinary assistant. Be careful socks can cause blockages. They do make indestructible. Dog toys made of very hard rubber. Things like interactive toys that you can work with her to prevent boredom. The key is to make sure before you leave the house that she’s had a lot of exercise!
You are 1000% correct!!! Long story, but...our Bailey was dubbed "miracle dog". She had surgery for her cancer, and was given maybe a month, at the vet school hospital in our state. Our local vet suggested cooking homemade food for her, to maybe make her more comfortable, and so I did. Instead of a month, we had just over 3 quality years. If we ever have another dog, s/he'll get only home cooking!
One cup rice to one cup water. Manual button on Instant Pot for four minutes. Let it sit for ten minutes as the pressure naturally releases. We use frozen green beans, peas and carrots, sweet potatoes or pumpkin and canned chicken. I cook the steam in bag vegetables in the microwave and then mix everything with the Instant Pot rice.
I recently started making my dog Marlee’s food. I have fed her a high end dry kibble for all of her life (almost 5 years) and she was beginning to do a lot of licking on her body and paws. I had not thought about it being skin allergies due to her food, but decided to try changing her diet. And when you think about it, what a boring diet to only eat dry kibble for every meal. First, I began purchasing “The Farmer’s Dog” food, but it is really too pricey for our fixed income budget. So, I began looking for videos on making my own dog food for Marlee. I settled on the same lady’s recipe that you mention in this video. I can attest to how easy it is to make and boy, does Marlee love her food now. She runs to her spot and immediately sits (something I expect her to do before I feed her). She eats it all and licks the bowl clean. She never did this with the dry food. I also use the calcium and the multi vitamins in her food. I am also making her treats from this lady’s recipe rather than feeding her the animal crackers we were giving her. She doesn’t need all that sugar. I feel so much better about her diet and she seems to be much healthier and has stopped the licking! Doing this for her makes me feel good. I want her to be healthy and to be with us as long as possible. ❤
My bulldog is 4yr. Been making his food since 8wks. I make big batch, @2months. I cook all the organ meat, liver, hearts, etc, and main protein, turkey, etc..whatever is marked down. I don't cook the veggies, leave raw, lose some of the nutrients. Sweet potatoes, carrot, green beans, chop kale OR spinach finely) throw in blueberries. Don't add any grains. Add tsp fish oil and or coconut oil with ea serving &pumpkin. I usually save egg shells, dry out , then grind up for calcium supplement. And of course extra vitamin supplements just in case . It's cheaper, better. A high guality bag of dog food is expensive, still has too much crap in it. By doing this I know what he's getting. HAPPY DOG HAPPY LIFE.
Hi. Thank you for your video. Love them. I feed my dog homemade food as well. I feed them what they would eat in the wild. No grains, no rice, no fruits, no veggies, just a variety of meats and organs. They don't eat veggies in the wild. Dogs are carnivores like us humans. They are so healthy and happier since doing this 1 year ago.

I hate when people talk smack about eating plants. Literally no basis in fact, just feelings ❤
@@michaelgjhkhyes- thank you- minus the making fun part. My dog gets about 85 percent protein from game meats, some fish and eggs. First I give him a goats milk yogurt drink- because he’s not a big water drinker. Then he gets wild blueberries- frozen. An hour later he gets his food. The food comes from the northwest and is freeze dried raw- that’s been excellent for him. He’s seven now- important things I just found out wish I had known all along- dogs can eat avocado flesh- it’s great for their eyesight‼️ I was super stoked to find that out because of omega-3‘s. He loves to crunch the egg shells- which will keep their teeth healthy and free of bone loss- wish I had known that before. I give him ‘step above proteins’ brand collagen. I also mix in ‘miracle enzymes’ for digestion. He loves apples and cucumbers. I don’t give him root vegetables but we experiment with a lot of other veggies - he loves all kinds of lettuce. 😊
Hello, I make my dogs food also. Usually a stew with base of natural chicken or grass fed beef. Carrots, celery, sweet potatoes or squash/pumpkin cooked in. Raw apple and romaine lettuce added. Finally, nutritional yeast 3tbs per day for my 60 lb fur person. Ticks die if they bite him!! So pleased with this result. Highly recommended you give it a try. Blessings
Olive is an absolute doll. We have two pitbulls ( brother and sister) our male does the same thing with his round toys. He will push the toys under the couch then bark for us to retrieve it. 😂
My wife and I rescued greyhounds for about 20 years. At one time, we had 10 of them in the house! Anyway, she also liked to put pumpkin puree in the dogs's food, but the way she got the pumpkin was a bit unique. As the fall was winding down, she would visit homes in the neighborhood that had pumpkins in the yard and offer to buy them at a cut rate price. A lot of the neighbors simply said that she could just have them for free. She collected quite a stockpile. It wasn't too much of a hassle to process the pumpkins and the dogs loved it!
You talk to Olive just like I talk to my Miss Darlin , our miniature dachshund I just love to tune in to the Presley family every day. Y’all inspire me to be a better person in the family of God. Bless you!
Love how you cook for Olive. We rehab wildlife and people always comment on how they are spoiled by the stuff we fix for them ( in a nice way). Sometimes they eat better than us! God Bless!
I feed my Missy beef liver. I had to eat beef live when I was younger because I was anemic. I didn't like it then, but I have grown to like it with onions.
Tip for letting the steam off the insta pot. Cover it with a dishtowel and open the valve. the odor and steam is absorbed. Worth a try outside to see if the liver (yuck) odor is caught up. Also, our dog was sensitive to the dew on the grass. We had to wash his feet Just a dip in some water and dry it off. Sometimes we applied some Sulfodene for scabs. Try some probiotics in the bowl. This all seems like a belly ache /gut problem.
My bulldog was 13 and had worn her teeth to nubs chewing. The vet told me to make her food. I used a crock pot and she loved every bite. Mold in the yard from decomposing foliage/grass was her nemesis.
Hi Corie. Thanks for sharing. One of our dogs had similar behaviors with licking from allergies. We found out it was the chicken he was allergic too. Once we switched to fish or beef added, everything cleared up.
Thank you for sharing your homemade dog food recipe. My dog has idiopathic epilepsy and was given a home cooked recipe. In this vet recipe, there is 3 lbs (93/7%) ground turkey, 3 Tbsp coconut oil, 1 cup each of chopped spinach/kale, apple, mushrooms, radishes, cucumber, tomatoes, celery, and 4 large grated carrots. Add 1 tsp turmeric and1 tsp dry mustard, 1 tsp iodized salt. I also use an Insta Pot. I cook 1 lb of dark red kidney beans separately until tender and mash everything together. When it's cooled 1 raw clove garlic, grated. It makes about 10 cups of food around 250 calories. I portion out the food according to the size of my dog and freeze it to keep it fresh. Before serving I add Rx vitamins for pets (Rx Vitamins essentials for dogs and Rx Vitamins canine minerals). You can add organ meats but my dog in a little over-weight due to anti-seizure meds. The vet said 1 clove of garlic in 10 cups of food is safe. You can google the use of garlic in home made dog food if you have any concerns. (Fresh raw garlic is the best way to include garlic in your dog's diet daily to boost its immunity. To do that: Always use fresh and organic garlic. Avoid canned (cooked) or processed garlic found in the local supermarket as they can contain preservatives for extended shelf life).
This recipe looks very healthy for your dog , although I have read that onions and garlic can cause tumors in dogs and cats . Anyone else ever hear this ?
When my sister's cat was ill the vet gave her a homemade recipe to follow. Her cat got better and became very healthy. We fed our dog "packaged (organic) food" that had few ingredients and I made her treats. If I had it to do over again though, I would probably make both. Olive is a lucky pup!
That Olive is the sweetest! We have 5 dogs on our farm. When I’ve seen dogs with allergies, I am wondering if the commercial dog food, like our human store bought food, is contaminated by the genetically modified, non-organic seed and seed that’s been treated. Olive is a young dog. With human children, many that I see in my former practice as a psychologist, had terrible allergies often traced back to store bought non-organic foods. We grow & up our vegetables as y’all do. When we eat meat, it’s from our farm. The cattle are grass fed and our corn is not GMO. We grow & grind our own corn. Most of what we buy at the store is paper products, glass jars, plastic garbage bags… but we even feel guilty about that going into a landfill. We try to use biodegradable materials, we’re stuck with plastics often though. Good for you making Olive’s food. My girl is age 39, and of course was raised up on mother’s milk. But when I introduced foods, I grew steamed, mashed her vegetables & raised meat she ate. Water was pure spring water. Dental worries became an issue so I got fluoride to be sure. Blessings, Miss Allison 🌼
Fish can create hair loss in some dogs. My mothers dog went bald. Fish fertilizer, fish meals; and dads fishing tackle was the cause. For the store brands check out what the three D’S meats are.
Hello Corie I believe that dogs are like humans. Home cooked food is always the safest and the most tasty. You know what you put in the pot. I think your dogie is going to enjoy better health now. They put so many preservatives and garbage in the prepared packaged foods to extend the shelf life that it makes the animals and humans ill. We have to go back to the old way and prepare everything at home. I love watching grocery hauls because I am nosey I like to see what people buy, lol. Thanks for sharing. Have a blessed day.
Knowing what goes in your pets food is just as important as what we eat. Looks like Olive is enjoying all the time and love you've put into making it. I think Olive is taking after you and Katie. Your Mom's videos tell us how she prepared and packed your special lunches for school. We're going to do what is necessary to ensure our loved ones eat 🤗 This is a great video. Have a blessed 🙏 day Corie 💕
Hi Corrie...That is a very healthy recipe for dogs or humans...I love beef liver soaked in milk for 30 mins, coated in flour with salt and pepper and fried in butter and onions...I don't eat often because my cholesterol is high but I consider it a treat when I do have it...Olive seems to have settled and calmed...she is a sweet dog.😊
When Corie said liver, that made me want some fried liver and onions. Like you mentioned Janice, high in cholesterol, which I try to watch mine too. Also like you, a very good tip is to soak the liver in milk first. 😊
My dog has allergies so bad. Yeast, constant ear infections, pawing at her mouth, licking her paws, sores on her belly and bald spots on the base of her tail. This went on for years changing her food and constant vet visits until the vet suggested allergy shots every 3 months and hallelujah that worked. I didn’t want to go that route but she was so miserable. I hope that Olives allergies will eventually subside ❤️🐾
I fully understand your heartache over this.....I have spent so much money on Apoquel it ain't funny. I am trying to use another method to help my dogs skin issues. I will tell you that using provadone 10% iodine mixed with purified water helps heal hot spots and skin infections in dogs. You need to mix this up until it looks like the "color of tea". I pour some on a wash cloth and wash his belly & dry it. His belly has healed totally. You can also dip his paws into this solution & it will help heal his itchy paws. So far this is helping him. We'll see. 🌿🌺🌿🌺🌿
Are Ny-la-bones still available? I used to give them to my dogs and there really help with their need to chew. They were made in USA not those foreign products. I no longer have dogs so I don't stop dog foods/ products anymore.
So cute! My sons dogs do the same thing. They literally stick their whole head in the bag. They don't pull anything out or tear anything up. They just look and we all let them. Not only are they important, this helps them to feel important. Pretty Olive girl.
A dog I use to have would not eat any food!!! I even made her food, similar to ives's. I guess we spoiled her. The only thing she would eat, is what we ate, no matter what it was!! Dogs can be so so picky!!!
Olive is too cute! Making homemade dog food is something I wish we had done for our dog when she was with us. I’m glad that you’re confident what Olive eats is good for her! :) Thanks for sharing and God bless!
Got the meat for my stew in the pressure cooker, son's cutting up the taters. So I'm taking a break on the porch and watching you make doggy food. Life is pretty nice today. I know it's hot but with hot humid days we should have a thunderstorm and cool everything down befor supper..
I make my dog’s food, as well. A raw diet is better for them. They would eat raw if not for humans and cooking eliminates a lot of the nutrients. Fortunately, I have a Freeze Dryer, otherwise I would also be using my Instant Pot. My ingredients are freeze dried separately and I just portion it out into pint jars then add warm water to reconstitute. Since everything is freeze dried, each ingredient stores in jars on my pantry shelf and can be broken up and handled. Even the meat. Ingredients are beef liver, salmon chunks, broccoli, spinach or kale, sweet potatoes, carrots, green peas, sweet potato purée, blueberries, freeze dried egg powder, brown rice (sometimes I just keep this in fridge instead of freeze drying it). Then I add flax seed, chia seed, turmeric & ginger powder. I no longer have to stand over him and beg him to eat. He’s excited to do so. Small pieces of the freeze dried liver or salmon can be given as healthy treats, but not too much. Too much protein isn’t necessary. Raw carrots & sweet potatoes make great treats. You are doing the best thing by making Olive’s food. Too many allergens and by products in commercial pet foods, even the pricey ones.
Oh no I guess I'm going to try it . I have a nine year. Might check. Out nutrition for him. He's spoiled enough but he does have stomach issues. Thanks and I've been wanting an instant pot anyway 🤗👩🌾
I have 2 elderly (14 year old )cats, I cook organic chicken, beef and venison to supplement them along with a small amount of kibble. They're very healthy and still limber and active.
I agree. Liver is gross. That looks like some very healthy food. I will consider making that for my little dog, Gypsy. I would think you could pressure can that.
I found out my dog would eat fruit such as fresh cherris rasberis watermelon and such - the thing she didnt like was banana - i like liver, its very nutritious _ also i would suggest you change her food sometimes so its not always exactly the same
Hollywood Feed has very strong fabric toys for dogs. If you don't have one in your area try shopping online. My dog chewed almost all my shoes as a puppy. I bought her lots of toys and named all the toys, she finally got trained. Flat toys with no stuffing are good too.
Definitely much better than store-bought dog kibble, which is highly processed! Something to keep in mind is that the liver is a filtering organ. So if the cow that it came from was fed hormones, antibiotics, vaccines, or feed that contained them, as well as other toxins and impurities it may have been exposed to, a lot of those chemicals are still remaining in the liver after slaughter, therefore causing that not-so-friendly smell! In addition, said chemicals, hormones, etc, are now being fed to your dog, or even to people if they enjoy eating liver themselves. Most grass-fed, organically raised beef liver has little smell to it. I encourage you to try to locate some organically-raised beef in your area. It's tough to come by in my neck of the woods, but I'm blessed to have access to an organic farm in Chambersburg, PA. Many places like them may ship direct to you. Just "food" for thought! Be blessed!
You are such a good mama for Olive. Never made dogfood. Our dog passed a long time ago. But made our baby food. The consistency was better for them. Thanks for your information. . 🌷🩷🌷
Our Queen Abbey the Labby was quite healthy on her raw meat and bones diet for all of her 16 years. Our approach was dead simple. The basic recipe was pretty simple. Take a piece of meat from the fridge and give it to the dog. Chicken skin sometimes caused her problems so I would skin the chicken thighs and render the fat from the skin for our use. Sometimes I would throw a couple raw eggs in her dish shells and all. Sometimes she would eat the shells sometimes not. Sometimes I mixed eggs in her ground beef. She loved to play catch with raw chicken livers. 😊
For my dog, I was lucky to find an organic food that she liked -- so she always had something if she wanted it. However, I did cook for her virtually daily -- meats, organ meats, 1 TB oil (coconut, etc.), 1 TB yoghurt (helps digestion an she liked it), and also cooked veggies (spinach, brocolli, carrots), an egg, etc. Funny thing: She LOVED raw asparagus! It was her favorite treat! She also loved blueberries! It was no trouble at all. It all made for a lot of fun. And she was very healthy and and very happy! She was an angel and beautiful! I still dream about her!
We do the same thing! I have 2 Boston Terriers and one just simply would not eat dry dog food. I even tried to dress it up with canned dog food and gravies. No dice! I have been making their food since last fall and they love it. It is a little time consuming so I do large batches at a time and freeze them which helps. They love it so much they don’t even hesitate, they just dig in!!! We also have the allergy issue going on as well. I can’t tell if it has helped with the allergies or not because we are still dealing with them but my chubbier dog has definitely lost weight and is much healthier. Olive is lucky to have you! We enjoy your videos! God bless!
Hi Corie we had a golden retriever who had allergies the vet told us it was environmental and caused sore spots ,after many tries of different things the vet finally put him on an allergy pill it was equate ( Walmart brand for Allegra) 10 mg tablet one time a day we gave it to him for 10 years and had no more problems with the sore spots check with your vet of course but it worked for George. Take care God Bless
The best chew toy we've given our dog is a deer antler. We use a small to medium shed and cut off the points to avoid injury. She will spend 15 to 20 minutes chewing on it. They'll last a long time.
Olive is just the cutest 😀😀 My Gran always used to make dog food herself and I'm sure it's so much better for them. She hated the smell of the store bought stuff and she'd say if the smell made her feel sick , there was no way she would let the dogs eat it! Also, she would add in cod liver oil which was supposed to be good for their skin and stopping them shedding as much hair!?!
Love the video. I cook for my three as well. Chicken legs/thighs, brown rice, sweet potatoes, green beans, carrots, ground corn, fresh spinach. They each much healthier food than I do! 😀
My daughter has 2 pitbull 1 year old dogs that are brother and sister. The girl dog is vrry alergic to most dog food. My daughtrr has to cook for the girl dog i dont remembrr what is what she makes but 2 things i do know is bone broth and rice. If she doesnt eat the homemade food she gets runny poo and throws up. My daughter saves all the bones from the family meals to make the broth. So there are lots of people that cook for there pets. Thanks for video.
My Havanese was almost bald at one point. I made his food but it didn’t help so I finally had him allergy tested. Turns out he was allergic to most of the trees and grasses in my area. He had to have steroids to keep him comfortable which is not ideal. I tried to do it naturally but being allergic to the “outside “made it tough.
Some where in the Bible it talks about a Righteous man even cares for his beast.. meaning he takes good care of his animals.. we don't worship our pets like the world does, but we love and take good care to even provide for our animals God's given us charge over 😊❤❤❤❤
If I ever get another dog I'll make food like this. As our dog got older she became more finicky. I would add things the vet suggested. She definitely liked canned pumpkin. Olive is a sweetie and deserves all the good things. Dogs are pure love.
I absolutely love bully breeds, they are some of the most affectionate dogs! Kongs are super strong dog products. I make chicken, sweet potatoes or rice, peas or carrots every week for my girls. I also add supplements for their joints
I just love Olive. We had a sweet dog that she reminds me of who died earlier this summer. He was very old and lived a very happy life and we miss him. He was tough on toys, too and talked a lot, like Olive does. She’s a doll.
Our dog was having itchy skin and allergies from any and all poultry in his food. We are now Using the Farmers Dog food and he is doing great. No more skin or stomach issues! Will try this recipe out using beef to see what he thinks. Thanks so much!!
We lost a 6yr old lab to cancer, vet said it was probably caused by his food (very high quality dry and canned) After researching how pet food is made and what is allowed to be in it - basically anything - we started making our own. We raw feed, 2/3 meat to 1/3 fruit and veggies, and liver, heart, kidney & gizzards. While the initial investment (grinder, freezer and containers) was a lot, the cost of making their food is the same as what we were paying before. We make 6-8 weeks worth at a time, add eggs and sardines when we feed them, and they love it. Dr. Karen Becker is a good resource, for more than just food.
My little on licks too and I believe it is his flea/ tick meds- bravecto- one of the main symptoms is licking of their paws- I only give during the worst season for them and notice he doesn’t lick as much- he is a multipoo.
I do the same on grocery day, clean the kitchen and clean out the fridge…then shop bring it all home…break packages down with the food saver, it’s just me and hubby and 2 cats so we don’t need much. I love coming home to a clean kitchen! ❤ I love your scarf, I have been searching Etsy like you said and have some cute ones coming my way. Love watching your videos!
I feed my dog raw beef. I find it marked down at the grocery store on Monday mornings each week. He was on some kibble that was costing me $74 for 30 pounds, and of course the instructions said to feed him four cups of that a day. Now I am spending around $16 per week and he has trimmed down and acts like a puppy again. I also give him some eggs, liver, and for a snack some frozen peas, baby carrots, or his favorite: cucumber slices.
Awesome recipe!! Ur doing the right thing in fixing Olive's food! I've always been cautioned about flee & tick preventives. One of the side effects is skin irritation. U may want to quiz ur vet about that and maybe switch to another brand to see if it helps. I'm currently w/out a lab but I'm looking. I've experienced severe health issues w/ my past 3 labs (mass cell cancer; Evens Syndrome; chronic kidney infection; severe hip dysplasia) and I'm convinced (w/ the exception of Evens Syndrome) that diet played a big part. For my next lab, I will be preparing his/her food.
I had a dog that in his last 5 Years he developed an allergy and I noticed hair loss and chewing his paws . I bought expensive food that was sure not to have any allergic ingredients but some of his treats did! I was not looking for wheat in his treats but some had it in it. And he was allergic to cat fleas! Who knew that they are different fleas? His last years was hard but he lived 17 years and brought us a lot of joy
Bathe her in Lye soap . The Aminsh make it and kennel owners who were at the Oazrk Fol enter who made lye soap me it was great for dogs and that they had a kennel in Misourri that uses their lye soap . It is great for the skin and you can use it and wash your hair with it too. Just an idea worth trying. I use lye soap in tthe shower and it is wonderfiul. I buy it from the little town near me which has an Amish community and I buy their goods.
I've had to make home made food for my little shih tzu. He really likes it. Your video is really great. I know it will encourage others to at least try this recipe. Most store bought food is not good for allergic dogs. You and your husband have such a pretty place to live. I am so happy for y'all. 🌿🌺🌿🌺🌿
it's too bad country stores have mostly closed down leaving only walmart to get food - at the country store, people would chat, have community, etc. they might have nylabones for dogs to chew - they are different flavors (sock pieces could get stuck in dog guts) liver and onions...

I love beef Liver sautéed onions and mushrooms in mashed potatoes it’s so yummy

Get you a wagon to haul your groceries in with. Will be a big help to you and hopefully one trip to do it. Love you girl.
I’ve been meaning to do that 😂

2. Humans are not carnivores, they’re omnivores. We have incisors and molars. We get almost all of our nutrition from plants. My parents only eat meat because that’s the culture. They are not aging gracefully.
3. Dogs are also omnivores, so ^^^^^
4. Of course the dogs are happy. They don’t have to work for what is essentially fast food-a caloric and saturated fat surplus that is probably obliterating their senses.
I hate when people talk smack about eating plants. Literally no basis in fact, just feelings ❤

Hello, I make my dogs food also. Usually a stew with base of natural chicken or grass fed beef. Carrots, celery, sweet potatoes or squash/pumpkin cooked in. Raw apple and romaine lettuce added.
My sister used to make food for her golden retrievers. Such a healthy way to go. Olive is such a sweetheart and deserves the best. ❤️🇨🇦
Good morning Corie , good to see you and Olive . Olive looks very heathy . You are a great mom to your Olive .Stay safe
You talk to Olive just like I talk to my Miss Darlin , our miniature dachshund I just love to tune in to the Presley family every day. Y’all inspire me to be a better person in the family of God. Bless you!
Awe, bless you ❤️
Olive is a funny bunny and she is spoiled rotten and she loves it! Great job Corrie!!!
Love how you cook for Olive. We rehab wildlife and people always comment on how they are spoiled by the stuff we fix for them ( in a nice way). Sometimes they eat better than us! God Bless!
❤️
Olive is so vocal and funny. I love her.
The yard is looking nice!
Just like a kid "what'd ya get me mom?!" 💝 Love that she knows 👍
My bulldog was 13 and had worn her teeth to nubs chewing. The vet told me to make her food. I used a crock pot and she loved every bite. Mold in the yard from decomposing foliage/grass was her nemesis.
Hi Corie. Thanks for sharing. One of our dogs had similar behaviors with licking from allergies. We found out it was the chicken he was allergic too. Once we switched to fish or beef added, everything cleared up.
Lucky doggie. Sweet of you
Thank you for sharing your homemade dog food recipe.
@@laurie2715My vet always told me to never give a dog onions or garlic. That they were poisonous to them!
@@pammiedoodle8693 good to remember!
garlic and onions can be bad for dogs 🐕
❤️🙏
love the color of your kitchen cabinets
When my sister's cat was ill the vet gave her a homemade recipe to follow. Her cat got better and became very healthy. We fed our dog "packaged (organic) food" that had few ingredients and I made her treats. If I had it to do over again though, I would probably make both. Olive is a lucky pup!
Hello! Would you by any chance be at liberty to share that recipe?
@jukes243 Could you share the recipe. My cat has horrible allergies
Blessings,
Miss Allison 🌼
I buy my pit bull Kong toys. Very durable ❤
I think it's wonderful that you make food for Olive. I'm glad you found a good recipe and that Olive certainly looks healthy and happy. Thanks Corie.
Ur a good dog mom! My dog couldn’t digest dog food. Or people food. thought I had tried them all until Costco Kirkland brand. Success 😊
We used to have a black lab that loved her socks. We would take old socks and make a long train of them tied together. She loved tug of war.
That’s interesting, I’ve never heard of frying it 😁
When Corie said liver, that made me want some fried liver and onions.
U might have to get him some probiotics. Sounds like bad bacteria in his stomach.
Start feeding dimon dog food it helps
Yes! My daughter's little dog has bad contact allergies!!!! 😢
Olive looks sweet. A friend of mine puts a fish oil capsule in his dog’s food every day.
All good stuff! You are a good momma.
Every doggie should live the life as Olive!! So happy that Olive has you and Austin as parents!! Thanks for sharing! God bless and love to all! 💕🤗🙏🏻
Sweet video. Sweet ik Olive
Thanks for your information. . 🌷🩷🌷
The black Kong toys are highly recommended. Had a dog that would shred dog toys and the Kongs last a long time.
❤️
❤️
Olive is blessed with a good fur baby mom 💖
The best chew toy we've given our dog is a deer antler. We use a small to medium shed and cut off the points to avoid injury. She will spend 15 to 20 minutes chewing on it. They'll last a long time.
Olive is SO fortunate to have gotten to be y'all's dog. You are so good to her! I love how she 'talks'. Thank you Corie! 💓🙌🏼
😁❤️🐶
What you need is a little red wagon to haul your groceries into the house! plus when the babies come you can pull them around… just saying 😂
You should look at the black kong toys
What a great momma ❤ you are. 🎉
We used to take pieces of denim, usually from the leg and tie that in a knot....the dogs loved that. Might hold up better than socks.
Some where in the Bible it talks about a Righteous man even cares for his beast.. meaning he takes good care of his animals.. we don't worship our pets like the world does, but we love and take good care to even provide for our animals God's given us charge over 😊❤❤❤❤
❤️❤️❤️🐶
If I was ever to get another dog I would totally do this! I’ve got two cats and have changed their diet to half real food, half kibble. They love it!
❤️
Thank you for sharing everything.God bless you and your family.
❤️
My little on licks too and I believe it is his flea/ tick meds- bravecto- one of the main symptoms is licking of their paws- I only give during the worst season for them and notice he doesn’t lick as much- he is a multipoo.
Always take care of your furry friends! Blessings!
❤️
I'm going to try this. My lil Jack russell, Minnee will love it and it seems healthier. Thank you for sharing. Olive is a very sweet girl.
I started about a month ago too and I use a similar recipe- love it and they love it too- I also have a beagle and she love it too
I feed my dog raw beef.
❤️
I had a dog that in his last 5 Years he developed an allergy and I noticed hair loss and chewing his paws . I bought expensive food that was sure not to have any allergic ingredients but some of his treats did! I was not looking for wheat in his treats but some had it in it. And he was allergic to cat fleas! Who knew that they are different fleas? His last years was hard but he lived 17 years and brought us a lot of joy
Nice recipe, now we know why Olive is so happy thanks Corie
So enjoyed this video Corey! Olive is one lucky girl!
Good luck on that shoe chewing. My Bella is 7 years old and thus spring she chewed the velcro closing off my tennis shoes
I've had to make home made food for my little shih tzu. He really likes it. Your video is really great. I know it will encourage others to at least try this recipe. Most store bought food is not good for allergic dogs. You and your husband have such a pretty place to live. I am so happy for y'all. 🌿🌺🌿🌺🌿
Thank you so much for sharing and watching!
it's too bad country stores have mostly closed down leaving only walmart to get food - at the country store, people would chat, have community, etc.
they might have nylabones for dogs to chew - they are different flavors (sock pieces could get stuck in dog guts)
liver and onions...
A drop of oil of oregano and wormwood in her water daily can help too. We do that for our dogs
We grew up eating liver mostly venison liver along with the heart ❤ and tung of the deer if cooked properly it is delishous
I LOVE LIVER!😃💜💚💜💚
Sometimes dogs will licker themselves raw because of emotional stress too. We had a dog did that.
