Making leatherette patches on the Thunder Bolt works great! Thunder Laser has done a fantastic job with this desktop RF tube laser. For this project, we are using laser safe leatherette from JDS Industries. Below are links to the items I mentioned in the video.

Have you ever cut 1/4 thickness wood or acrylic? I'm still trying to learn about the settings, but I don't want to push it.

With the Bolt, we have only cut 1/8" We've not tried any 1/4" yet.
