I think this controller is atypically designed when it comes to assembly and disassembly. Within 3:03-3:08, the horizontal from-the-bottom view of the dpad action, that shows a panel line between the rubber grip and the rear shell, which indicates separate piece. There's also a handful of frames within 12:17-12:18, when the screwdriver is wedged into the controller's right side, that show the top shell's plastics go fairly deep into the grip tip piece, and within the same frames you can also see a bit of panel separation from the grip piece and the rear shell. I think this is a situation of having removable grips, like an Xbox Core controller, but molded more like a DualShock 4 handle, except the grip itself should slide off within the axis of the handle itself. I would assume that the back of the grip, not the wrap-around portion that slides over the shell, but the portion molded into the rear shell, has clips attaching it. If you continue looking at how to disassemble this controller, I'd start with looking at how the grip pieces come off, as the rest of the controller looks to be clips outside of the two top screws that probably only exist for rigidity for the phone clip. Of course a company will also say that disassembly of a product will damage it, every company that isn't directly right-to-repair-friendly will deter anyone from opening their products.
@@VKsChannel There will never be updated version, that was just a decoy answear mate. The price is too good to have a second version made espacially, so people can potentially prolong the life by fixing bits. I think the company is awesome for offering a 4 hall sensor gamepad so well priced. But it is a Chinese company, they're not famous for being truthfull. And they even tried to get that disassembly part of video removed. I don't think you're getting another gamepad from them, but i value your honesty greatly.
I think you're right, i can see a seam between top and bottom half, under the rubber grip, at the pointy bits/horns of the pad. The rubber itself is holding halves together and most likely like you said, hiding screws as well.
@@VKsChannel yea I went ahead order the MOBAPAD New CHITU hall effect ones. Also got the nyxi GameCube joycons to coming in. I've been playing tears of the kingdom. With the big hori joycons. I've realized how much a big difference this has been.
usually you test the sticks in more detail. Give an answer, please: 1) does it have an inner dead zone? 2) what about stick sensitivity compared to dualshock or xbox (alps)?
I did a detailed test at 8:42 The center deadzone is pretty ok and the stick sensitivity feels about the same as general alps joysticks I just can't confirm because this controller is sealed and can't be opened without destroying it
No problems, I'm reviewing the updated version now but the updated version has 2 small issues that I will report back to the company and see if they will fix it before I release the review
I like how the buttons are colored for Xbox but still in Nintendo position. Repairability is pretty garbage.
