She can’t see the words.” Also, there’s a knack to reading scrolling text on a prompter and it was obvious, even in rehearsals, that neither of them knew how to do it. Add in the nerves on the night and it was no surprise that it was a disaster.
Autocue couldn't be read and there was no communication from the back. I think they had to wing it. The media unfairly slaughtered them. Worst thing (or best?) was it was live.
I've worked on backstage crews for shows like this. They're rehearsed to DEATH. Every single thing is scripted and timed and planned ahead. There's no way this went wrong by mistake. It has to have been a deliberate stitch up, there's no other plausible explanation. Seriously, a live show like this, and NOTHING is left to chance. There are backups and plan Bs in place just in case of technical issues on the night. The presenters were stitched up. The WHOLE crew talk to each other in earpieces continually, these shows are planned with regimental precision. They were stitched up.

It needed actual presenters. Sam and Mick were not. Actual live TV presenters are able to keep it moving when things like that go wrong.

I thought Mick Fleetwood was a total jerk to Sam when I first saw that.
Never liked the way Mick just left Sam flapping in the wind. After that, she took all the flak and he was hardly ever mentioned. C*nty.
