might also be that ice takes energy to break down to water, and then be processed in the h-o generator. I figure that might be like a double feature lol
Always loved GUIs like thisone to see energy and item consumptions/productions to debug things! Especially in games like Factorio, would be really nice to have in SE2 as well!
First person touch screens in cockpits would be rather good for cockpit apps. Rather than simply being stats, they could be interact. The feature would also be great if the feature was available for programmable blocks to hook into throught the mod API. A boy can dream.
I just want better and faster sim speeds, a dedicated ship building "space", a story or "goal", better inventory management, and an overhauled combat system
Curious if we will be able to have dams... imagine having the task of running your clans dam to keep the base powered when turbines and solar aren't running, or pumping water back up when its in excess; of course, there are reactors, but with how much power water should provide, reactors would likely be little more than a drop in the proverbial bucket.
Ye I'm pretty sure dams would be possible just like in their preview x3 and yeah having water or steam turbine from dams would be nice and make sense too u wu ♥ I just read what Billabong said xD rip u wu hopefully they change their mind on that x3
@@LucaTheGuide that name Billabong just reminded me of Balloons... imagine steam being pressurized and having its own atmospheric engine, for things like trains :O We already kinda have trains, but the microgrids in SE2 would actually make them possible for the base game :OOOOO STEAM WISTLE GO CHHHHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOO
Looks to me like its just a new interface to the hydrox generator which already splits ice, they are just adding water as an input and probably redesigning the hydrogen power generator to match the concept. So pretty much the interface is cosmetic and wont affect much, this is still about adding a single material.
That would be a nice extra mechanic to have c= I don't think they'll add heating mechanic though u wu since SE seems to be intentionally made rather simple in regard to that kinda stuff xD we'll see though x3 ♥
I personally cannot wait. I know I'm going to be relying on you for a lot of insight into the game on day one until I can get it myself on day two XD
xD ♥ I shall bring engineering glory to Almagest u wu
Water = Ice, and ice is resource in space engineers 1, so would make sense if h-o generator consumed it
might also be that ice takes energy to break down to water, and then be processed in the h-o generator. I figure that might be like a double feature lol
Yeah c= but hopefully we'll have things like water or steam turbines as well x3 ♥

That sounds cool x3 just like on Star Citizen where we can press a button to enter an "Interaction Mode" to interact with clickable stuff c= ♥ x3

You can make a dam, but I don't think you can make a functional one, I'm pretty sure I heard it won't happen

Water cooling would be cool
Yeah c= I don't think they'll add heat mechanic though u wu but that might be nice x3
@@LucaTheGuide i agree!
Time to start up my water hauling faction! I will DRAIN THE SEAS AND BRING THEM TO YOU! For a fee, of course.
Gogo xD ♥ I kinda wanna make a big hole and drain the ocean myself u wu

I would give an additional like for the link to the post (too bad youtube doesn't allow giving 2 likes)
x3 ♥ Marek's blog is a pretty informative place to check on their development updates for SE2 u wu ♥
They might use water as a coolant.
I was thinking this as well. Maybe water/ice cooled speed modules?
That might be cool x3 I don't think they'll add heat mechanic though u wu
Cooling, your power consumption might become tied to a heat buildup mechanic that can damage blocks~
