Thank you for the great video. I don't understand why you removed the sump assembly. It looks like the wash pump could have been replaced immediately after you removed the old one.

I agree , that sump pump can stay on there , just swop out the wash pump.

Thank you for the video. To those who ask why take the sump out that is easy ... because it is an absolutely sh!++y design where you have to line up the main hose, the hose to the diverter assembly and the stupid tab on the bottom of the sump.
I originally removed just the circulation pump in the manner that people said to do but when i tried to put it back on the angles are a pain in the arse and when I finally did get the rubber on the diverter assembly connected when I tightened it down the hose slipped on the back side that I couldn't see and then the clamp cut the rubber since I couldn't get it to tighten up.
At that point I followed the video and removed the entire assembly and it was still a pain in the arse. At the 7:35 portion of the video I pulled the diverter assembly (3 screws) and connected the diverter assembly to the circulation pump which made it much easier to connect the circulation pump hose, the diverter assembly into its hole and the stupid tab where it goes.
Unfortunately from my first attempt the cut in the rubber on the diverter assembly was bad enough that water leaked. Spoiler alert ... you can't just buy the rubber piece that connects to the diverter assembly so I ended up having to replace the entire diverter assembly which was another $80.
When the part arrived I took the unit apart and replaced it like I mentioned above, reinstalled and it worked fine.
Again ... if you want to remove just the circulation pump have at it but prepare for a fun challenge and possibly damaging another part.

4:33 I like how that plastic diverter below the tubing is completely cracked. Don't bother mentioning that. And how at 8:43 is magically got repaired. Easily an 80$ mistake...
