I really like how Grant made the Mutants feel like an actual group of humans that had their own culture, Social Activists and celebrities

    Good overview.
This was amazing. The best X-Men since Claremont had left. My only criticism is that there is no interaction with the rest of the Marvel Universe. No meetings or tie ins with the Avengers. No Captain America. No Spider-Man. This may as well be Ultimate Morrison X-Men set in a parallel universe. I enjoyed the bizarre art changes. Morrison's Invisibles had a lot of art changes too. I think it works for Morrison's work.👍👌😮

To be honest, I kinda wish that the X-Men really were in their own universe, separate from the rest of the Marvel heroes. It kinda makes no sense that mutants are hated in the Marvel universe while other non-mutant superhumans exist as well, but at the same time it kinda does make sense since mutants are born with their powers and most of them have physical deformities as well unlike most non-mutant superhumans.

Great video. I've always been more of a DC reader so I'm more familiar with his work there but X-Men had always been my favorite aspect of Marvel so while I didn't Morrison X-Men run at the time I'm definitely interested in checking it out. I always enjoy when writers try something new with these superhero books.
I really enjoyed the video and your opinions on everything

The inconsistency of art in New X-Men definitely made Morisson’s run suffer.

I'm not a huge fan of the New X-Men series. It seems to me that Grant Morrison wanted to basically adapt the X-Men films into the comics, hence the black leather outfits and the aesthetic of "realism". I also don't like Beast's feline form and Emma Frost joining the X-Men out of the blue, not to mention her and Cyclops' psychic affair and Jean Grey dying, again.

I'm mostly liked his run but the art work I felt very unsettling. I'm not sure if there is a single artist I like from this run. Maybe it was just the style they had to follow and it's not their fault, in that case, I still didn't care for it.
I hated how long Jean stayed gone for too, but that wasn't really his fault. The next writer could have fixed that.
