The best era of comic a least for me.
I agree. He can be quite a powerhouse, too. He’s able to hang with the big guys. He’s also muuuch cooler (And a much better character.) than his brother Vulcan. Ugh! Why the H did they resurrect HIM?
I think Storm killed Vulcan off for good
Good review. Maybe there was miscommunication between Larry Hama and the artist. The Team X/Team 7 crossover with Image (now Wildstorm) was brilliant and also by Larry Hama with a Omega Red appearance.

Good video 👍 Robert Kirkman is truly a brilliant comic book writer. He understands humour, characterizations and action perfectly. He also seems to understand self promotion and business. I can see why Todd Mcfarlane asked him to join Image. My favorite issue is when Spider-Man meets Invincible. It was hilarious 😂.

Good review 👍. Hmm......this Doom seems a bit out of character. Even if he is a variant. I have no idea why he would travel the Multiverse killing the Avengers 1000,000 BC and other Dooms. If he did decide to do such a thing he would do it alone. Not with a team.
@@afroscifizianzcomix7836 this doom actually was Doom prime for a while he was realy hardcore, Doom had done this in the late 90s graffing the skin of his first love on to his armor, when this happened it felt out of pocket but this doom is actually just using the master of evil to hide his movments from mephisto, no one knows whats he is doing with these dooms and 616 Doom is no where to be seen yet

Good review 👍 This doesn't seem like my kind of comic but I salute the writer bringing in 1980's Rom and Crystar characters. I remember when Rom, Transformers, Godzilla, Shogun Warriors, Micronauts and Crystar were all set in the Marvel Universe. I'm getting old 😂

@cavotiscomics3423 The Crystar mini series was a back up strip in the Marvel UK Return of the Jedi weekly comic in the 80's.. I haven't seen Crystar since.

Thanks for this. I’m still trying to get as many old Claremont issues as I can. Sadly, the dialogue does NOT hold up, but the stories and characters are still great! Selene is one of my favorites .

@@theragoooverlord5021 yes I remember also Hydra Cap was a big deal too, and now no one cares about comics.
I remember speaking about this a few years ago on how it was just a Dark Reign knockoff 2.0. The fact it uses power & corruption in more street level perception on anti-vigilantism is just decent but little repetitive especially trying to make Fisk’s Thunderbolts more similar to Warren Ellis’ Thunderbolts from the Initiative line-up.
I hope it a return to form for the thunderbolts it as been a longtine since we have gotten a good thunderbolts series.
@@cavotiscomics3423Oh they have returned and it’s awful like the ones previously. This recent one was mostly influenced by MCU’s “Thunderbolts*”, which is set to release next year (Which I have no intentions in watching since it’s inaccurate 😅😅). I think in most cases they should bring back Songbird because Thunderbolts hasn’t been same after their downfall during 2017 series.
@@cavotiscomics3423Speaking of Dark Reign. The recent DC Comics event is literally similar to that formula, now that Amanda Waller has become Norman Osborn 2.0 or should I say Lex Luthor 2.0.
@@Kal-Grayskull i just have realized the last Thunderbolts run I have and liked was during the time Luke Cage was the team leader and for some reason Crossbones had powers, he was possibly a inhuman I think I have to got back and check. I think songbird had gone crazy during this time.

Good review, They killed Bova? Bad move. I don't know much about thec Sam Alexander Nova. I have his first appearance in Marvel Point One #1 (2011). He seems OK. If I see this in a dollar bin I will pick it up.

Good review 👍 It's been years since I've read this (I have this story in a X-Men Essentials volume that I asked Chris Claremont to autograph for me when I met him). That JRJ cover is just magic. Wow.
His best work at least for me is from the 80s.
I still wanted a spinoff story about Freedom Force and USAgent's friends getting sent to Afghanistan and fighting the Soviet Super Soldiers and such in disguise. Well, everyone but Blob, he has to stay home because he's too obvious. And this way Agent's friends don't get his parents killed
That is a great pitch for a story, I remeber part of Freedom Force died in the fiirst irak war, so this would be a great follow up

Good overview. My first Blob comic was Days of Future Past ( Uncanny #141- 142 I think). Thus may surprise you but my favourite artist for drawing the Blob is Rob Liefeld. Hus Blob always looks amazing.

Good review 👍 Oh boy....this is a mess. As I've said before Jay Faerber is a good writer. His Generation X for Marvel was much better than this. His Image work is best in Noble Causes.

Oh man I do not think there is a Sakura Spider or Anansi in this story. Did you see the Deadpool and Wolverine, there you have a funny cameo of A certain Deadpool you like.
@cavotiscomics3423 I loved Deadpool and Wolverine. I was thinking though that a 20 year old watching it in 2035 won't understand many of the references and jokes. It is a move made for the generations who watched it at the time.

He was also the main villian on the Wolverine series for a while too, he created albert the Robot Wolverine that I love.
