    I've spent many hours testing these robots and surprisingly, the Roborock S7 is close to the S9+ in cleaning hard floors, but the airflow is highlighted in the carpet cleaning results.

    The biggest selling point for me was the roborock was the mopping and it's fantastic. It's great at non carpet maintenance.

    I actually mistakenly purchased a roborock S7 thinking it is actually a mop too, just based on many english reviews here. Then saw one review in russian where the guy finally actually pointed out that wet cleaning isn't a mop and that they are two completely different things. Roborock will only wipe nearly clean floor to remove minor amounts of dust and small debree, which for example ilife 450 is an actual mop that does what the mop should do, and afaik they do not even have any competition on a market at this time. So I am coming to a conclusion that it is much better to buy a two separate vacuums for these two tasks, one that is just a vacuum without any "wiping" features because they are quite useless as a mop and as the guy says - will make it worse spreading all the dirt all over the house. and on top of that you will need to clean the pad manually all the time. So I think the iLife 450 for now is half of the solution and I will research more to see which robot vacuum can do only vacuuming in the best way, I think I will focus on D-shaped models for that, for superior corner cleaning.

    Europe - bought s7 with auto empty and got bagless and bag setups. Using bagless one and so far very happy. I didn't even think about it, but auto empty cleans up filter perfectly, its a huge improvement versus manually cleaning our old robot.
    No reviewer talks about it, but roborock/mi robots have a 10x easier internal parts replacement and they're 5x cheaper than other pricier robots. Thats why we're using roborock.

    Price is a big factor also in europe. The S9 with auto empty is around 1.700$. The S7 with auto empty is 950$. With the added mopping feature on the S7 its a no-brainer for me.

    So I have trimmed down my selection between these two... either pairing Roomba s9+ with Braava Jet m6 or going straight for Robocok s7+. I am leaning towards Robocok (main floor is 2500 sq ft and I have a combination of hardwood floors, tile and area rugs). Any advice/

    • @CordlessVacuumGuide
      @CordlessVacuumGuide  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I'd lean towards the Roborock S7+ since your floors are mostly hardwood with area rugs. The Roborock's features are better suited for this type of setup, plus the floor area favors the S7's efficient navigation and longer range.

    Thank you so much for the review! I’m trying to find the best vacuum and mop (combo or separate) for my new apartment. I have two dogs, one of them is shedding a lot, I have long hair which could be a problem for some vacuums. I also have two children so we often have crumbs and stains on the floors. Can you please recommend what would be the best for me! Thank you in advance.

    • @CordlessVacuumGuide
      @CordlessVacuumGuide  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'd lean towards the Roborock S7 with the mopping feature and because it's decent at cleaning hair. The S7 will be decent at mopping floors, but I'm not a big fan of robot mops that can't pick up liquid, it's not something that I'd use regularly since leaves water marks on the surface. My favorite robot mop at the moment is the ILIFE W450. You can check out my review on this channel :).

      The Roomba S9 should be better, performance-wise, but I like the auto-empty system of the S7 where debris flows through a wider opening - it should bode well with emptying pet hair from the dustbin.

This little machine did and excellent job!!!! My only con is that it isn't low enough to go under my coach in my livingroom. The software for the Roborock looks good. Does it remember the house layout somehow? I have a V1 Xiaomi which remaps the house on each new full vacuum.

      Roborock will save multiple maps. When you put it on the main floor or upstairs it will recognize which map to use. Very good lidar, works completely in the dark.

After just a year the sucking power decreased bmo and even after two runs in the same room there is still some dirt on the floors and we have linoleum flat flooring everywhere..
