I actually always do this, I listen to the song which I will be using in the video while travelling and from that, I get new ideas of shooting the video, and in that way, I get more cinematic shots

This was exactly what I need to get my motivation back for working on videos! Quick question. Where do you get the "will increase your chances of survial" voice samples that you had in the cinematic sequence? I checked epidemic, youtube audio and freesound, but I may be using the wrong search terms?
As I work my way through all your videos (consistently excellent!!) I’m wondering if you have one about capturing sound on location like you mentioned in this one! Tips, tricks, audio gear at various price points, etc. I’m gonna try out Epidemic Sound regardless, but I think it would add a truly personal touch to record my own ambient sounds, just don’t know how much effort it would be 😆 thanks for the great tutorials!!
Unfortunately not, almost none of my sound design is recorded on location :(

Did you consciously choose the light bulb you're using in the little hallway/ entrance of your bedroom [left side of shot] in order to give the background a more dynamic look?
I would also say you should create some sort of story in your travel video. In your edit you while you’re shooting or something.
