Your style of work to illustrate this lesson is brilliant. Your explanation of body language is the best I’ve seen. Your editing work is superb. All in all, your teachings are really first rate. It really is well-thought out and our documentary class will learn a lot, and this will be a popular share. Thank you. (One TH-cam techniques filmmakers use in these videos, however, - and this is by no means a harsh criticism - is the use of jump cuts in on-camera segments. Just a slight +or - in post will underline your major points more effectively.) Thank you for teaching important techniques for handheld camera movements. You are da man.

Yes dude!! I've really wanted more enthusiasm out of you for a long time. As negative as that sounds, I feel like it's more important to give honest criticism. And my main critique was your lack of enthusiasm in some videos. But NOW! I really saw a massive improvement in this video! Your genuine interest in explaining the topic came across really well and I was really engaged. There's still a lil working on it, but I love to see your improvement as you progress man! Keep up the content!

Thank you so much for this video! I'm really glad you're back making tutorials they really help and you're the only TH-camr I know who explains things in a way I can understand. I've actually been looking at getting something for smooth handheld footage but after seeing this i'm really going to nail down the handheld way and then in the future look at investing in something like a ronin. I think sometimes we all get a bit crazy about thinking we need the best equipment to achieve the best look but really it's about the content and the shots you choose rather than the equipment.

Really like this, the start and the colour grade was lovely. Thanks for the tips. One thing I've found that has helped me is using a small extension pole on a ball head. It's like a static steady cam and helps with unwanted role. I off set, the stick to the angle I'm shooting and it seems to help a lot with the G7 and kit lens which doesnt have any stabilizer. I also use it as the 3rd point of contact against my chest, small tripod feet in the pole and this rests lovely
    Awesome work
