We pulled oil analysis on our airplanes religiosly. Like you said trends is what your looking for. What is normal for 1 engine may or may not be the same for another. But trends will give you advanced warning of wear and that something is up. It will also point you into the general direction of where to look. So, yes, keep sharing them. Be safe.
That was a good video! Haha, it is funny that I am entertained by oil analysis ( and I learned stuff ). I have to admit that you used to really like smaller bikes. I would have to make sure the 600 is "the one" before I sink my time and money on it.
What oil are you running in the XR 600? Just curious. I have an '87 XR250 and currently use Honda oil. It is a bit more expensive but has seemed to do me well so far. I'm not trying to start a whole 'oil controversy' topic of what oil is better/best. I'd just like to know what oil you use as you definitely put your bike(s) through a workout when you ride them. I really appreciate your channel and look forward to your releases/ future content. Thank you for this video.

Thats very interesting. Ive got an '85xr600. I can see metal in the oil, probably not worth getting an analysis but im curious now. Do you know what the breather is supposed to filter through? Mine seems to be just an open tube above the air cleaner.

You should try The Darkest Dungeon. If pushing through the misery on a dirtbike is your thing it might be in the depths of the dungeon aswell.

Ive only heard good things about the crf250f, its pretty much a slightly more powerful 230 but with fuel injection
