Mark E is right, Shimano have been making mini baitrunners for a while now and I always use one, used to get a bit of stick but now peeps are copying me although they are using pit reels hahaha
I have taken nearly 10 kilos of dry groundbait when fishing in Germany to get the bream feeding. Fishing in this Country has got too technical and no fun anymore thanks to commercial fisheries.
Would have been better if he had started his swim to the left or right slightly as not to spook the feeding fish while playing them in front of him ,surely
Place is crammed with fish .... no one can fail at places like this. Commercials are a business like any other. Whatever method you use you’ll get bites. More “professional” fisherman than ever. Promoting their own products. Amazing how fishing has changed over the last 10 years. The future? Our club has only a handful of members under 30. 95% are over 50. I’m not convinced fishing is a growing sport.
WIth entering the modern era everyone wants confort and lot of fish. Nobody wants to be a loser. I have seen such a terrible things- guys filling their fridges, even hiding fish in their car to eat it. In the maiting season they pick the fish in large bags directly from the water, because the fish is desiorintated. Be happy that in your country there is respect to the fish.
Even at over stocked venues veterans/people new to the sport can still have a slow day it depends on your tactics and where your fishing. I agree fishing on TH-cam is all about trying to sell your product some brands and flavours work better than others you’ve just got to find what works at the place you fish
I dont undrstand oni think how can u hook and plaz a carp on such a small hook i try alot i got some hits buth noth even on size 10! Fisch gose away what seemsnto be the problem !
but let's be honest no one there or not you still want to weigh and picture at the end of the session no matter what the size. you don't want to be doing it straight away as you want to keep your swim going. so in my opinion best to keep till end then get all your pictures that way you haven't missed a monster hahaha
This s is like feeding a cow the shooting it. The idea of a guy packing up for the day throwing extra bait in the water and the fish knowing it is just silly.

Mate, last time I tried this I hooked a Twenty on the feeder and Straightened my hook out 😬😂🎣
I'm surprised that you're not using a bait runner reel, with the two separate drags.

I used to fish with a slack drag till Shimano brought out the mini bait runner, now it's all I use
Michael Hilton I use a small tfg air lite reel, cheap and has done the job so far, check out my vids.

Elastic mate. Some method feeder have it attached already but a lot of places ban those type of feeders

Great method but the sinkers make the x-safe feeder unsafe as the line can't slide though.
Make a system designed for saftey...unsafe. If a break off occurs it will leave a fish teathered to the feeder. Not good angling.

Biggest would be 14 hook but usually 16 in matches. If going pleasure fishing for just specimen, double figure carp will go to an 8 hook.
