A great tactic for carp and F1s that's banned in many matches but works brilliantly for pleasure fishing, especially when the fish want lots of bait!

I have used this method for over 15 years on the Hampshire Avon. It’s great for targeting Chub and Barbel that like over hanging brambles and bushes.

I spend all day on a lake in all weathers to catch fish, it doesn’t matter what method I use as long as it’s safely done and no harm comes to the fish. I think this looks great and will certainly give it a go next time I’m out. Thanks for the great video. Subscribed.

I have no objection to banning methods that are dangerous to the fish but this is no worse than normal method feeder use. I think the reason it's probably banned is because you can do it just as well with a £200 pole as with a four grand one. A lot of people have a vested interest in not allowing that!

Not everyone can afford a Pole that can be fished at 16 metres plus. Lots of anglers cannot reach productive areas of their swim because their wallet isn't fat enough. Have you ever tried to fish a heavy Pole at full length for 5 hours? It is not easy, and most won't even try. So any method that allows them to fish more productive areas of their swim with cheaper gear, such as under Trees or amongst snags is a big help. Levelling up an anglers chances against the guys with all the gear is a good thing. Too many anglers have an advantage because they can afford to outspend their rivals.
