- What does it take to get 1 singular diamond in Better than Wolves - Minecraft's Hardest Modpack? It takes EVERYTHING you've got, and even then it might not be enough... It also took me around 50 hours to EDIT this too AND i had to self learn Adobe Animate and Photoshop so let me know if you liked the edit style (this weeks inspiration was Cyberpunk) (sorry if the animations weren't the smoothest)

All the zoomerisms may be slowly killing my brain cells but the dedication of sinking dozens of hours in only to die from an ego move keeps me coming back.

if its roughly 3814 hours for the nether, i dont know how worse soulforged steel will be 😨
For Tdlmc it may take 3814 hours (because he doesnt progress very efficiently), but on my world I got to the nether in roughly 30 hours (although I got very lucky with diamond generation). At 130 hours and the end still seems sooo far away with how the villager tech tree goes. Still going strong with no deaths.

He's got strong opinions in general. Its why his mod is only for OLD versions of minecraft lol
I think a large part of it is that he's not actually engaging with most of the mods' features. There's a whole rotary energy system in the mod that he hasn't even touched. Plus, the mod was never designed with hard-core in mind, so it kind of makes the mod out as harder than it actually is.
@@minigunuser25 I think that's for only for flowerchild (old dev) not dawnraider (new dev) and i think she's just respecting flowerchild (???) or it's just too hard to port to 1.12.

Compared himself to David, while getting too chromed up and went cyberpsycho for that one singular diamond. He was closer to David than he ever knew.
This guy is going to become a pro at minecraft at the end of this serie. He will literally search for harder mods or to make this mod harder.

10:07 for the old better than wolves timers, this moment is extremely lore-accurate
You should try Vintage Story. In order to get iron you have to mine it from drifter infested caves, collect a specific kind of clay to make fire bricks to make a one time use bloomery to make an iron bloom. Then you have to process that iron bloom on an anvil. Then you have to forge it into what you want. Chainmail armor requires 40 iron, which dosnt seem like much but making it will take you literal hours. There is no knockback and you have to eat a balanced diet or your total HP will be less. Also watch out for temporal rifts and storms. If you do find yourself in a temporal storm, tell Dave I said hi!

That ending was a typical anime protagonist going mad with power just to get slowly picked apart, as he loses more and more confidence and strength, until he can't even swing anymore when a horde of enemies appears and beat him to death with rebar

This modpack has a legitimately interesting looking gameplay loop of going into danger to get resources and then defending from danger to use those resources, and by making all the monsters significantly stronger than the player, the problem of having only like 7 mobs for the whole game is mitigated by having them start as unstoppable hunters and then turn into enemies later
